It’s insane that LOB packs were in retail stores when I was kid for a basic price, now their going for prices like this
I even have some 1st edition cards, like heavy storm, from back then. But of course all scuffed and only worth a couple bucks. Still wild to think about.
Goin to Kmart and buying 1st edition Metal Raiders packs...If only I kept them.
Back then I was 12 and I couldn't afford them, but now I'm 32 and I can't afford them either.

@@VisionCoins3699 there has been at least a decade by now when everybody shouldn't sell ANYTHING even remotely old without checking a price on ebay. People are becoming nostalgiaholics.
This is interesting, I never thought I'd see a real Pawn Stars Yugioh episode. Really nice, too bad there wasn't much of a negotiation or a more detailed examination of the product (even knowing they're real since it's Vintage we're talking about).
Your mentioning of the O and N in the Konami logo to help distinguish a fake from a real box is GOLD. I never knew that, and I'd love it if you could make an updated video on how to distinguish fake boxes and boosters from real ones. It's a great thing to share!

I was in Vegas not long ago (where the pawn stars shop is located) and they actually have a small section behind the counter dedicated to Pokemon. I asked about Yu-gi-oh! and the gentleman behind the counter said they don't carry any
You can weigh blister packs if you have a few I do it sometimes

I saw this yesterday and it really baffled me. My only guesses as to what happened here are that the guy that brought these in saw the graded prices and was going off of those, bought these during the pandemic and wanted to squeeze as much money as he could which didn't happen. Alternatively the internet is a thing now and it's also a TV show. they might have simply done this to get the Yugioh community talking about Pawn Stars. And would you look at that here we are. haha
this looks to be at least 1.5 years ago based on their covid precautions

It was year 2006 when My brother and I bought 2 packs of Yugioh boosters. I bought Dark Crisis and My brother bought Magicians Force. We both pulled the secret rares Vampire Lord And Dark Magician Girl.

I went to see their website if they had any yugioh product related and surprise NOPE THEY HAD ONLY GRADED POKÉMON ONLY AND SPORTS CARDS
It would be neat if you did like a watch along series watching the OG series or GX or something. I remember simplyunlucky was starting to do that but just gave up lol
That was pretty cool to see and thanks for the advice on how to spot fakes I'd like to see you do a video dedicated to that sort of thing in the future how to spot fake packs cards the differences between glossy wavy packs and the different print runs of sets how to tell the difference etc would really help new people to the hobby find out what there buying and what to look out for

Those third party packs was a box that got broken & repackaged from what I’ve heard. Which is why they are hard to find. So a little different then MJ holdings products.

Alot of what to consider is who goes to a pawnshop especially this one they specialize more in like antiques and Yugioh cards are a hard sell especially with that kind of adverage client and experince.
