@@CultGuardianenjoy the campaign, be aware of people’s opinion on the game. It’s a grind to get things in the game and progress but that’s the fun part the grind. Don’t listen to the negative about the game because the community is very toxic and will say anything negative very quickly. Enjoy guardian!
@@CultGuardian Yeah, the gameplay is fun and the story isn't actually that horrible- destiny has had a handful of *extremely* good stories, particularly the Witch Queen campaign, so having a 6 or 7/10 story felt bad right on the heels of a solid 9.5/10.
Reminds me of my first time playing. Don't forget to use your super. You hardly use it and could have finished off the tormentor sooner.

If you have the time I'd highly advise checking out the Timeline which can be accessed on the director page ( the screen with the planets etc ) in the upper right corner. This will allow you some insight on what has happened so far but also allow you to play some key missions from previous expansions if you don't have them. That being said I do know that on PS5 all expansions including Lightfall are free until June 3rd including the past 4 seasonal stories.
I will check those out. The epic store had really good deals on the expansions, so I have them
@@CultGuardian Just FYI if you have all expansions I'd highly advise you to stop doing Lightfall at the moment. Try to play through the content in order of release otherwise the story will get increasingly confusing. Especially for new players. You mentioned you have all the expansions? Then I'd advise following this order.
- Shadowkeep
- Beyond Light
- Witch Queen
- Lightfall
And because the previous 4 seasons have been made free until June 3rd You can also start playing through those after you've completed Lightfall
- Season of Defiance
- Season of the Deep
- Season of the Witch
- Season of the Wish ( which is currently on-going and you've experienced a bit in your next video because the game threw you into the opening mission )

Could you do some onslought and the wisper mission in into the light. (If you need help with wisper there is a in builed lfg (looking for guadians )system). If you click on a Activity there should be a section called fire team finder click on that select creat/search then choose the Activity and after that you can join or other people can join you too help each other.
Edit: you get the quest from a person on the moon.

@@CultGuardian it is pretty easy to find onslought is in a section called into the light but to enter it you will need to go to the hall of champions wich is under onslought. The wisper mission is under the hall of Champions after you pick up quest from that Person in the moon.

My suggestion, as someone who has about 2000 hours in destiny 2, is to go try strikes and nightfalls for a little while once you finish the Lightfall story. Do strikes first, work your way up to around 1800 power and collect weapons with perks that you like. Don't worry about the meta, don't worry about raids or dungeons yet. Get comfortable with doing nightfalls, try some gambit to see if it's your thing (Most people hate it, I love it, it's not for everyone), then go play Onslaught. It's a new mode, it's the quest that popped up during the cutscene near the start of this video- think of it like a COD zombies mode. It drops unique, updated versions of classic gear- good stuff with good perks.

He should grab the free chest of max level gear in the hall of champions instead of doing the long grind of leveling, it was made for new players to get max power straight away.

@@CultGuardian it will make your experience a lot better because you won't have those moments in the game where you can't physically complete a mission because you are under level.

This is my first time coming back to destiny since d1. I feel your pain and lightfall is also the first campaign to lvl up easy. Story doesn’t make sense at all

How did you get the Sunshot already? its really OP this season, i've been having a blast (pun intended) using it lately.
Also, If you go to the Hall of Champions there's a chest in the back left corner with all 1810 legendary power gear, I think an exotic as well.
Sunshot? I got it when I started. I bought the Legacy dlc and lightfall.

When you start, sunshot is one of 3 exotic weapons you can choose to unlock. Other one is gravitron Lance and I forgot the other, arc based. You can get risk runner early on, sweet business and I think arblest too
