Great effort! Holmfirth / Holme Moss is my local cycling area, it's spectacular, but I've never been up Holme Moss in the twilight so that's something to try. Woodhead in the dark isn't something I'd necessarily choose though. And I bet the road surfaces were better 25 years ago!!!
Awesome video. Well done on returning to the Moss after 25 years - first time this century. The twilight descent was spectacular and I think the surface on the corner junction with Woodhead has got worse since I did it in 2013. Don't worry about wildcats on the moors at night, the werewolves have eaten them all.
@@mattjohn7700 you did really well. Holme Moss is so sustained & as you said, riding it on a tourer is hard work. I did 2-3 months ago on my knobbly MTB & it was so much slower than on the road bikes.

@OldGreyPunk To be honest the roads were in brilliant condition all new by the looks, yes in the dark on woodhead was boring no view back home.
