    WHy don't you stitch the 2 ends together in addition to anchoring the loose end ?

    What's the recovery time on this surgery ? Weight bearing, physical therapy etc

      9 to 12 months. First 6 weeks no weight bearing and isolating exercises. First 4 months no leg press. 9 months no side jumps etc. It’s likely 12 months before you can start doing almost everything on competition level. I had this with an acl reconstruction. It took me longer to recover.
