I said the same thing like they forget we're all guest(s) some are so f**kin stupid AND forget that Thailand NEVER had an issue with any country it stayed neutral. I have found plenty on beach road who want nothing more than to walk you to your hotel then demand to be paid for doing nothing. The past of lets make a deal and stick to it is over. GoGo and Beer bar is still a option BUT most you find there at an acceptable rate are well over 40 and also very well seasoned. Want of a slim cutie ,then average will cost 3k bar fine alone in a gogo maybe up to 2k in a beer bar Just for Bar Fine, then girl is a dead fish in bed.
It is not a few incidents thailandia is imploding and destroying reasons men from the west arrive. Services and experiences with local women sucks generally. Food is or can still be good but prices going up almost daily, beer still cheap though a six pack never less than $6 for a low level lager at 7/11 or such. Hotels are about all there is as a draw but with more Indian tourists lately hotel prices will rise soon too.
I vacation 2 months at a time and at one time 4x per year. Pre covid I was spending 1k US dollars per week on wine women and song only. Since thailand reopened I have been back three visits. It is almost impossible to spend more than $200 per week on wine women and song because the offerings just are not worth it nor worth the gamble of her pulling a scam.
I just got back a few weeks ago and so far nothing exciting outside of a good meal in my sights. Women are for the most part older and a lot heavier.

I watched a stream last night, a guy got into an altercation with someone else not wanting to be filmed and there was nearly a fight, however the streamer then walked off but he was in such a rage that he later kicked something (looked like a bin) at some thai people, before you knew it there was about 10 thai security officers (bouncers I guess) about to kick his head in, he got away by basically begging for his life and offering them money.
I'm not saying don't go to thailand but I do think tensions are high right now, don't go starting fights and especially never ever fight with the locals, it's never 1v1, random strangers will help their country mate even if they don't know them, you will get the crap beaten out of you.

If you want to come come to Thailand it is very safe and you should never have a problem. But you must leave your personal baggage at home. Obey the laws, the police have road blocks, do not do like the 2 new Zealand guys did and blow thru there is a good chance you will be followed and stopped. I have been in Thailand 13 years and never a problem with the police or with local population. I do not understand what this guy is trying to do but he could find himself sideways with the local authority. Remember if you come to Thailand please do a bit of research before coming and learn about the customes and the local way of doing things, respect and politeness are very important.

There should be more videos like this. I have traveled all over the world. I have been to Thailand. I've never had a problem. I speak Thai and I know the culture. I've noticed that the ones who cause the problems are Europeans, Australians, and Kiwis. Oddly enough, it is rare that Americans or Canadians cause any problem. Good point. If you binge consume alcohol to 3 or 4 a.m., that is a problem. When I see Americans at that hour, I tell them to follow me. Within minutes, without fail, Thai and Europeans get into fights. One time I was stopped by a Thai policeman. He asked what me and the other Yanks what we were doing. I said, "Making sure we are not associated with the fight going on down the street. He laughed and said, "You're smart." As I've said, I've never had a problem in Thailand.

Problems are going to occur with people. People are messy. There millions shuffling back and forth between different countries. There will be problems. You just got to hope it is a win-win for everyone on average, if not the laws will eventually change.

Most Thai people are very kind, but, I have encountered some very disrespectful thai people which surprised me. They also need to have respect that foreigners even come to their country to help it also. Seems like they are becoming meaner and meaner towards foreigners thanks to the media. Ive noticed some sharp comments towards myself ect. Its not just foreigners being crazy makes me wonder how the thai people are acting towards them in the first place too.

Not every exchange is going to be fair or mutually respectful, ESPECIALLY when dealing with the law in a foreign country. Just comply and move along with life, if you don't like it then just leave.

There are some that have issues, and they tend to follow them wherever they go. But while the Thai’s are happy tolerant people, the consequences for crossing the line here are far more severe.
Remember, all you will EVER be is Farang - Foreigner. Be respectful, always.

Thanks for the video and advice. Pattaya and Phuket are two of the worst place that I've ever been with, way too expensive, doubled or tripled, also too crowded because it's already owned by farangs and westernized. Looks like you been living in Thailand forever. Better be off to Siem Riep, Penang & Manila.

Saying that I agree 100% with your advice that you are a guest and must respect local culture and social mores etc

Title's a bit overkill, bro. I can go to my local in Sydney and see this shit. But, tourism is massive trade in Thailand. Telling people to stay away because of a few dickheads ain't helping the Thai people. Got my 11th trip planned for Aug. Busting inside to get there, and there'll be no 10pm curfews. The band doesn't kick off till then...🤘
