What a time for music the '80s was. I found it far superior to the '90s which got swallowed up by corporate grunge labels and multiple band tours at Big outdoor arenas. I'll take '80s music any day over 90s. Keep in mind screaming Trees started in 1985
I vote more Screaming Trees!! 🔥 I listen to them far more than AIC tbh, and they have some GREAT riffs! For all the arguing and bickering the band endured, they really were talented and underrated in my opinion!!
Saw a solo Laneghan play the London Astoria on cold sunday night many years ago,,wasnt busy, upstairs was closed, but gig was great did 2 ST numbers as well.
Screaming Trees are the best band ever come out of seattle. They predated all the phony grunge bands and outlasted most of them. Outclassed all of them
Thank you very much for the lesson - killer tune ! As others have said the library of awesome 90s songs you have covered. Brilliant. I don’t know where to start!!
@@LetsPlayAll Looking forward to it. May I ask are you using an amp ? Or straight to an audio interface ? Pedals used is helpful. Curious on the rest of your signal chain. Tones are great !
@@paulm6341 always into my V40 - Two Notes Captor as I record silently when the kids are asleep! Same setup for every vid basically, I rarely touch the amp
@@LetsPlayAll Great thank you - V40 must be a versatile amp. You cover a lot of ground. Thx for taking the time to reply. Merry Christmas from Australia.
Hello mate, we have this in the Red Mosquito setlist; it's a tricky one to cover with just the one guitar I can tell you 😉 My 1991 is apparently out for delivery today, so I shall enjoy a tonedive at some point of the Crimble period. Best wishes to you and the family too, have a Cool Yule! 🎄😎🤟
nothing in the Trees' catalog holds a candle to what Mark has done on his own or with the likes of Dave Rosser, Greg Dulli or any of his other collaborators
Hey Wayne, it's actually an opamp based circuit and the particular opamp used gives the pedal the luxurious midrange that's present in Ten and other classic albums of the Grunge era.
I get so many it's hard to keep track so if it's something you're desperate for I always recommend patreon.com/letsplayall as I prioritise those, but feel free to make a suggestion and I'll add it to the list!
Awesome song ,, I remember it on the movie ‘ singles ‘ … I only watched that movie because I heard Chris Cornell played in it .. i guess that movie is what spawned ‘ flutter girl ‘ and ‘ spoon man’ from the pretend tape Jeff Ament made with song titles that Cornell took and wrote songs for … Once again , you sound amazingly spot on as the original recording…
It was requested as a prize to raise money for Diabetes, and its got 13k views in a week. Music is a subjective thing amigo, I’m sure there’s plenty of my other lessons you may enjoy more 😊🤘
Such a great channel you’ve started. Literally do lessons on all my favourite bands. What a time for music the 90s was.

Who’s your fav Seattle band? Nivana? Pearl? Queens? Mud?
Uh…Screaming. And the Supersuckers.
*blank look*
Haha must admit I hadn't heard of Supersuckers, will check them out!
RIP Mark Lanegan. He passed away on Tuesday 😥
Mark Lanegan has had some great guitarist’s… Especially his solo career…
nothing in the Trees' catalog holds a candle to what Mark has done on his own or with the likes of Dave Rosser, Greg Dulli or any of his other collaborators
I saw Trees at the end of their run in a venue with 250 people and Josh Homme, who had just left Kyuss, on second guitar. insanely great show.
It would be great (and I'll be thankful) a More or less lesson
Great video as always man
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Do Bed of Roses next!!
Righteous amigo!
I saw Screaming Trees with Gruntruck and Alice In Chains (Dirt tour) and after 100s of shows I still rate it one of my favorite concerts.
Yes matt
Did you hear the distant cry
Calling me back to my sins?
Like the one you knew before
Calling me back once again
Great tutorial!!! Could you do shadow of the season tutorial?
Cheers! Patreon.com/letsplayall best for requests mate 🤘
Great song, great vid once more!
Thanks!
Thanks for the solo. A lotta slop in there when you listen to the recording. Thanks for breaking it down lol
No problem!
Do Halo of Ashes mate. Im sure it's in an open tuning but i can't work it out!
Yes a chorus pedal works but what really works is a Rotovibe pedal. 👍🏼
Yea don’t have one of those at the moment, need 😊🤘
Great!!!!! 👏👏👏👏🤘
man this is awesome i love the screaming trees can you do More or Less next
Sweet Oblivion is a great album
Great! 🔥🔥🤘
Think you should do a mark lanegan week ;)
RIP Mark Lanegan
Incredibly sad news 😟
That PearJam Overdrive pedal really gets those alternative rock tones? because its has FETs transistors as the pearl jam marshall amps?

Screaming Trees is an unrated band. Can you teach also « Black sun morning « and « Shadow of the season» ?
Nooo subtle poison or flashes !!

Any plans for Sad by Pearl Jam?
For sure, we'll get to them all eventually mate!
Any chance in doing “Biblical” by Biffy Clyro?
What kind of strat is that? Sting?
It's a Suhr custom I picked up second hand
