- Tonight I'll be soldering, assembling and testing an Aero-Gro "Hang-Ten" aeroponics controller using a few 3D-printed parts and some inexpensive bits and pieces from Aliexpress.
I'll demonstrate the wondrous world of off-the-shelf low-voltage pumps, timers, fittings, 3D printing, and more.
We'll start with a pile of parts, and end with a working controller. :)
Let's Do This!

You are making this way more difficult than it needs to be 😂
Looks very clear
It is!! :)
Didn't watch live but I'm watching it now and my ears perked up when I heard my name...
Hi Avi - your "Hang-Ten" has been shipped. You should be receiving it either today or tomorrow. I am editing the video right now. I will have it posted sometime today. When you receive it, there is a QR code inside the packaging. The QR code leads to the assembly video, but you may not need the video. I'm looking forward to hearing about your first experience with it! :)
@@aero-gro Got the my "Hang-Ten" today. It was very easy to install without the video but I watched your video after putting it together just to make sure I did it correctly. I left you a voice mail earlier today to let you know that I received it and put it together in about 10 minutes. I also left you some information about the hanger.
Hi Avi! It was great finally speaking with you the other day. I'm so glad everything is working well. The design change we talked about is printing today. I will send you the updated unit as soon as it's done printing and tested. I would love if you could keep us updated here on UA-cam. Talk to you soon. :)
@@aero-gro I didn't hear back but I noticed in a newer video that you have changed the way the controllers are being hung replacing the wire with a 3D printed bracket. Any way to get the STLs so I can print them myself?
How about a video with multiple aero buckets connected to a nutrient bucket?
I love it! In fact, I'm assembling a few buckets this week. I will put together a video about that ASAP. Thanks for the great idea! That's a pretty easy mod. It just involves adding more quick connectors to the nutrient bucket, and a few more pieces of tubing. The power of the pump is the only thing that determines how many buckets can be supplied. Beyond that it's just a matter of using a splitter to divide the nutrient supply into however many lines are required. That should make a great video!
