Best exhaust sound for the WRX, deep and not like a can of soda. Any performance gains with this? I really don't care about the performance but mainly the sound, but it'll be interesting to see if in addition to this awesome sound you get a lil bit of performance. When I get my WRX, I will definitely buy this exhaust.

Really nice loud sound between 1-3 gears. Installed today with a cobb big sf intake. No drone cruising at speeds in the left passing lane if you know what I mean. Don't normally get dbags thst try to race me, but today was one of those days.

how well will this unit stand up to daily use in SW OH? I know you are in PA, so similar conditions. My experience with exhaust parts is the welds tend to rust first, followed by the hangers causing broken joints. How does your AWE react to the elements? Do you have 1 yr, 2yr, ect, duration photos of the exhaust on a daily driven WRX? BTW, beautiful work. Cheers.
Hi, K. We use T304L stainless to allow peace of mind for these reasons. All of our exhausts have a lifetime warranty, so if anything happens -- presuming from natural causes and not modification -- then it would be covered.

What’s the difference if I just do a muffler delete on my touring exhaust vs the track edition conversion kit? It’s 400$ vs maybe less than 100$ for a muffler delete. Just curious is all.

Stock software, stock downpipe.
If this exhaust pair with nishimoto dp, is there any drones?
Can't comment on their unit, but the testing we conducted with an aftermarket downpipe did not render drone. With that said, I am sure all will be well if you went that route.

Yes, this system will be louder thank stock especially under load, but since it is the Touring Edition it has drone-canceling 180 Technology® resonators so you can enjoy smooth tones at cruising speeds.
So this does not have any drone during highway speeds around 75?
How does this compare to the corsa? I really like both systems and it's kind of hard they both have unique sounds and don't drone. Also not obnoxious in anyway but loud enough to hear while driving which is everything I'm looking for
Can't comment on their configuration, but given your description of what you're looking for... the Touring Edition would be your proper dose of steel. It's definitely apparent outside of the vehicle, but very refined in-cabin. We build from locally-sourced T304L stainless, and include a lifetime warranty and perfect fitment guarantee.
@@awetuning I like what I'm hearing, get a downpipe/intercooler this fall with a tune and once that's paid off getting a better catback. You're in my top two choices and what you're telling me is only helping

What is the difference between the sti mufflers and the WRX mufflers? Would the sti mufflers work on the WRX? And do both have 180 degree technology? I know the sti mufflers are meant for the sti but wondering if they would mess up the WRX sound!
Different displacements render different frequencies resulting in different accoustics. The STI resonators with 180 Technology® were tuned for the EJ25, not the FA20. You're an adult and can do as you wish, just know we didn't intend it to be that way so YMMV :)

Which exhaust should I run on an fa w uel headers? Would the wrx touring or sti touring cancel out drone with that setup?

Is touring louder or quieter then track?
Touring will overall be quieter - In the cabin Much Quieter, at idle and part throttle much stealthier, wide open more refined but close in db. No power restrictions thanks to our awesome 180 Technology!

Track is unbridled. Tuned for tone and volume, this is a straight pipe system from the cat back. You’d expect some drone, and should you free up the flow with an aftermarket down pipe quite bit of volume in and out of the cabin. If keeping the cabin comfort in check is a priority, the Touring is the ticket. We offer conversion kits so you’re not stuck with your first choice if it doesn’t suit your needs or if they change down the road.

No. This is the touring version, so it has a resonator and mufflers (out back) to keep it a bit quieter. The resonated track edition (think straight pipe) will be louder and possibly cause drone. Also, if your state has/enforces dB laws, the track version will attract more attention. Apparently, if you buy one version, you can can convert it to the other but you need to contact AWE directly...
