Beautiful 4runner! Have a 2016 Trail Edition 4runner in Magnetic Gray, has 110K miles on it and no issues whatsoever. Put 275/70/17 tires, the biggest without any lift since I first bought it. Will not hesitate to purchase another 5th Gen 4runner if I could afford it. Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure and I love Trail Team Edition. In fact I own a 2008 FJ Cruiser Trail Team Edition. Only rock 265/75/16 but it does have 3” lift. Actually thinking of selling and switching to 4Runner. FJ great but the blind spot bad plus pushing 193k so want to tap out under 200k. The 5th Gen will be last V6 why I’m wanting to lock one in now. 2025 turbo4. As of now new still way to go and in fact with 70% residual leasing best bet w/ buyout at end of term. I had a guy w/ $10k down lease TRD Pro $440 month! 😳 to finance same vehicle w/$10k down $861 monthly! If yours is paid for that could be you 100% with money to spare! Miss my chance to get 40th Anniversary Edition but I can classic pin stripe ☝️ 😂
Other than the too high Kelvin range on the headlights that are inconsiderate to other drivers because they're blinding (and don't get me started on the stupid light strips other cars are doing), this car is perfection! I have a 2016, and these beasts don't quit. I'm not so sure about the new turbos (which aren't worth the gas mileage improvement), but this year and older are AWESOME. Oh, and to the guy who says it's boring and outdated and bad mileage: That's not why you buy a 4Runner, son. Go back to your Jeep or Chevy or Ford dealership if you can't appreciate longevity and function, and you will get neither by comparison (except for diesel trucks). But hey, you'll have your "cool" new stuff.
The front end will tilt up slightly with some weight in the back. I had to adjust the headlight screw one turn counter-clockwise to point few degrees down so I don't blind other people. Mine is a 23' with the 6000k LED.
Agreed! The 4Runner is still made in Japan (with excellence), one of the primary staples of the Toyota brand and over the decades become #legendary #renowned The respect earned after owning one and experiencing the smooth functionally balanced with the tremendous off road capability makes the classic look that much more appealing and appreciated! If it ain’t broke don’t fix it type thought. GOAT
Well opinions are like butt holes everyone got one. Which its been No. selling midsized SUV for decades so obviously some people prefer tried and true. That said they are phasing out the V6 drastically improving fuel economy. Though folks don’t buy them for the fuel efficiency but rather for the reliability and functionality.
@@Codyonamission You can't have both of the best worlds, as they say. I prefer fuel efficiency first. Not that I'm saying reliability doesn't matter. Of course it matters too. Btw, I am driving a Lexus RX 450H Luxury Trim and GMC Yukon. Both are different but both are ok in their own ways. 😊
I agree. But people still love them. Toyota is selling a lot of them because of all the hype. So many of them out there, eventually values will start to fall fast.

TRD Off Road cannot be spec’d with a 3rd row seat….. but you know that right 😮
I did yes. Only the SR5 or SR5 Premium have that option.
@@Codyonamission also the Limited
SR5 - Code: TH $805
(Fabric)
SR5 Premium - Code: TI $1085 (SofTex)
Limited - Code: TS $4698
(Leather)
Likely why I don’t see many 3rd row Limited on the ground.

@@Nexgeninfi Thanks for paying attention to that! You're why 4Runner owners are awesome.

This beauty is for sale in Mississippi and available to be sold anywhere in the continental United States
Where?
Boring car. Too outdated. Lacks power. Very poor MPG.

Great old school suv. Consumer reports just reported this most reliable!! Of course fuel sucks! Lol. Most 4wd suv do!!
