- In this video I've given in my opinion a list of pros & cons about living in Germany. Although I have not lived here for long I do have some things in this video that needed to be shared while being stationed overseas and just being apart of the military life.
Thanks for watching!

Facts about me: I am a 20 year old military wife.
My husband and I are currently stationed in Germany.
We have a pit bull doggy named Lola in the states.
I use a canon G7X to film.
thanks for sharing your perspective as a military spouse! Living overseas definitely has its share of perks and obstacles.
Traveling: flights to spain from 30 Euro on per person (when you book early)
Language: every effort is appreciated
food: yep, beware of a Döner addiction
weather: you can end up with 5° F in Germany, so people have decent clothes for these temperatures (because we walk everywhere)
AC: agree partially, but you only have to handle the heat for four weeks
Staring: Um, yes, sorry. We do.
Food: fully agree to the limited american selection. Would love to have more mexican food over here.
closing times: very much a southern german thing. further up north 10pm is a normal closing times.
If you're bored, don't hesitate to check out your surroundings. DTV here on YT has some suggestions.
I LOVED all 10 years we lived in Germany! I would have retired IN Germany but SOMEBODY🫤 (German wife of 22 years) didn't want to. I would leave America TODAY if I could go back and LIVE in Germany!!!❤❤❤
😳🤦♀️
BAH… nice I’ll be there soon as a spouse
What all do your Wife have to do before moving overseas with you?
Hi! my husband just had to let his command know that he was wanting me to go overseas with him, they gave him a list of things for him to do as well as me. Mine wasn’t as long as his since he’s the one in the military. I did have to get command sponsored since we got married after he had already joined the military. Depending on the branch it may be different though.
