The flight section reminds me of when my mom, brother and I flew over in 1981. Dad picked us up at Frankfort (Rhein Mein) and we drove to Graf in an Army green VW minibus. Such a great start to a wonderful 3 1/2 years.
The visit to Eschenbach was amazing. We lived in Tremmersdorf before moving on base in '82 and drove through Eschembach all the time. There's a Bakerie there that makes the most amazing ham sandwiches.
This is such a new and exciting chapter for you!! I am so glad that you arrived safely especially with covid and everything going on! My husband is in the military but we won't be stationed out of the country, we might move to the east Coast but thats about it! So so excited for more videos!!
The founder of the Audi car company was a man called August Horch. Horch had left his previous enterprise which continued to build luxury cars until the 1940s . Anyway. Horch was not allowed to start again under his own name and simply used a pun as a name for his second firm. Horch can be jokingly understood as the imperative form of horchen, "to listen". The word is related to the old-fashioned English word "to hark" or "harken". In Latin that would be "audire" and the imperative form is "audi". In Lautin and in German the combination of "a+u" is pronounced like an English "ow" as in "how" or "plow". In fact the German vowel system is very easy to understand though it is not very logic when it comes to diphtongs. "eu" sounds like "oi" or "oy". But it is without exemptions, not like "bow", "follow" and " and "how". An "e" or an "h" turns an "i" into a long vowel as in "Biene" for a bee.
Randomly found your page and we both moved near graf at the same time. I just went to Munich and just went to Tk Maxx for the first time! 😂🤣 we got the same UA-cam videos on our channel! 😂😂 anyway I just subscribed ☺️
