Other sports will no longer be viable for most schools.
I'm confused. Is Bud actually a practicing lawyer? My impression was that he was a law school grad and possibly a former practicing lawyer. Is he actually an active member of the bar?
Players have been getting paid since the inception of sports. This isn’t about fair player compensation; it’s about mediocrity feeling more than.
The NCAA will lose this case. You don't need a law degree just common sense and objectivity to see this.
I laughed at your college presidents' "cushy six-figure salaries" comment. These presidents preside over multi-billion budgets-- for example, FSU's current operating budget is $2.62 billion. Name one business with that kind of budget that doesn't have a CEO making six figures, if not seven?
When you’re compensation based, you have to operate as such lol Athletes aren’t going to like this man. “He’s a kid, he made a mistake” “Yes, so did I, a $15 million dollar one, goodbye.” Lol
Good luck to all the mediocre athletes who were able to get scholarships, go to school, meet friends, build lifelong relationships & change their lives. Hope the $2500 was worth it lol
I say if college student not In sports gets higher turion. I say sue NCAA. And house. Break all of them 5 trillion. Simple laws was not in effect u get nothing plus how is this getting paid for. Most likely students not in sports. I say sue house and I think prince. 100 million dollars. no bankruptcy u pay the damn bill. Next it a college student can go to other colleges every year to make more. Schools shouldnt pay a dime to athlete. Next take all scholarships away from students atheletrs all schools all sports. Simple no loans and they can't get paid till after first football game. We don't want kids to decide not pay student loans. So either cash or u get grades for scholarships. By the way they need go for a real class and make grades if ur starting QB not going to class and doing work. Simple suspend kids. So make it hard for athletes to get in college. Start real hard SAT no computers no phones no calculator and need ID. U NEED A B OR BETTER GET IN COLLEGE. PLUS U GET PORTIONS OF TEST. U CANT USE RESTROOM TILL EACH PORTION IS DONE. SIMPLE CANT TAKE PHONE TO GET ANSWERS. THIS WAY IMAGINE HOW MANY STUDENTS WONT GO TO SCHOOL W/O SPORT SCHOLARSHIP. BLAME IN ON THIS GUY HOUSE. MAKE SURE EQUALITY HAPPENS. ALL ATHLETES GET SAME AMOUNT MONEY STARTING QB OR FOURTH STRING QB. TAKE ALL MONEY PUT IN POT THEN DIVIDE AMONGST ALL PLAYERS. NEXT EXAMPLE IN BASKETBALL NEW RULE FOR TO STOP RACISM 25 PEOPLE TRY OUT FOR TEAM. 20 BLACKS 3 WHITES 2 ASIANS. EQUALITY I GUESS IF ONLY 15 MAKE TEAM. FIVE BLACKS R OUT WHITES AND ASIANS IN. PLUS THEY NEED TO PLAY QUARTER OF EVERY GAME. AT LEAST 5 MIN AT A TIME. SAME IN NBA. REMEMBER U LIKE DEMOCRATS SAY EQUALITY SO TREAT ALL EQUAL. OR I SAY SUE TEAMS NCAA FOR MILLIONS

If CFB keeps shifting towards NFL and less about the college aspect I will no longer be interested. I suspect there's a lot of people who feel the same but I don't know if the overall viewership would decline since it has only been going up.
It's a dual edged sword. You want the kids to get what is rightfully theirs, but it does seem to keep washing away what is special about college football.
