- This is the 4th part of the journey down To The Black Forest From Near Saarbrucken on the DL650 Vstrom.
This is the run in to Bad Liebenzell where we had managed to get a last minute bargain stay at a place far more luxurious than we would usually stay in, but its nice to treat yourselves once in a while.

I always wake early. But nights are getting earlier too lol. The riding is unbelievable. But it is tiring. 2 big mountain pass runs coming. Near the border of Austria now on the edge of the Tyrol
Steeper than it looks.....those hairpin's are the proof. Your journey reminds me of some of the upper Appalachian Mountains,
great highland system of North America that ranges from Canada down to Alabama. Upper New York State, Vermont, and a
few other spots remind me of the quaint towns like you're passing thru. I'd imagine they're big during the skiing season but
I digress. I'm glad you've been able to do it, moreover to share it here..... keep the rubber side down & be safe.

@@diggy-d8w running a bit behind, all catching up with me, but i will get there, sat and watched the footage yesterday and for once it is almost as good as the ride, really was a candidate for the best road ive ever ridden, it rose over 1000m in less than 4km and most of the eleavation was really in the last 2-3km, endless switchbacks mountain lakes and waterfalls. just unbelievable, but tired today now lol
I don't think you're behind at all = you're "Right on Time" in my humble opinion. With the number of balls you juggle I'm
glad when you share. No hurry b/c there's no finish line. You leave point A & get to point B when ya get there. All that
you experience between those points is the stuff I'm glad to see as you share them. I refrain from calling it, "Content"
as that trivializes the living of life in the moment(the Here & Now). I see the places you ride & compare them to the
ones I know, then I think of the WW's where man/machines poured thru some of those places. I don't know history
but there was a lot of turmoil in WW1 & WW2 >> but today I see tranquility & the greenery of life in bloom. I'd like
to enjoy that as long as possible b/c the events going on elsewhere can take all the serenity away in an eye's blink!
