Heard for first time today, and I’m like: I had upstairs at Eric’s on vinyl, cassette, 2 cd’s and digital and I didn’t think about listening to their previous album?!? This is great! What are other underrated songs I need to know about? Before it’s been 40 years since their release? Lol
Just found this and I am so glad I did. I loved all their music from back in the day and can’t get over how on point they still are in today’s music. Under rated, mega talent and so freaking pure!
A friend from Illinois who I knew briefly in the 1980‘s introduced our group of friends to this and we thought we were cool because we all liked it and nobody else had heard of it. I didn't know what Alyson looked like until just now because the videos weren't being played back then. It was so fresh and new and our friend was turning us on to extended remixes and B-sides from trendy underground artists like Depeche Mode, Gang Of Four, and Scritti Politti. I learned recently that he had moved to Colorado and died a few years ago. I still love their music but the grainy video makes this song seem like an archived piece of forgotten history and rediscovering the song is more of a tearjerker for me now. 😢
Evet. Merhaba. 🙂 Bende 80'li yıllarda dinlemiştim. Yazoo'yu çok seviyorum ve dinliyorum. Bu Güzel Müziğini de önceden dinlemiştim. Ama kim söylüyor du bilmiyordum. Şimdi Tesadüfen karşıma çıktı. ÇOK MUTLUYUM. 😊😊❤❤

If they make another guardians of the Galaxy they should definitely start moving into '80s music and they should definitely fucking start with this God damn song it was fire then and it has been fire for 35 years
Whenever I see a line of coke (which I never do lol), this song pops into my mind... Souped up, jacked up, cracked up, stacked up Puts the liquor in her stomach and the powder up her nose. And don't it make you feel good? ;D

@@sl4983 Yeah, I really only knew the songs they played on the radio. I didn't get into Yazoo until after high school, maybe late eighties, and I didn't own any of their albums, unfortunately.
So many 80s b sides need to be heard. Ice Machine by Depeche Mode is another that springs to mind plus Ultravox I Never Wanted to Begin, Culture Club Colour by Numbers etc
one of the most under rated songs of all time
yeah bro, great 80s tune.

Swankiest synthesizer riff ever created.

Lo mejor de lo mejor!
Yazoo! Los Amo!!
Brilliant tune
Splendida 😎
Holy crap, I never heard this song before. Where the hell were they (radio stations, DJs, VJs) hiding this one?!!
This song soaked up a tremendous amount of radio play in the U.S. it was the B side of “Nobody’s Diary”
@@JeffreySunshine1 Well then, where the hell was I?? 😂 Damn, I listened to the radio all the time, but I sure missed that. I play it often now.
Clubs and underground! It was called "Alternative"
@@preciousone5496They hardly played it on the radio. You had to at least know about the "in" scene in the 80s.

I due che hanno messo pollice verso, si sparassero in testa!
Vince was totally bringing in a new sound and here he is trying a top of early white rap like Blondie .
WHY a lot of my former friends are dead, oh, but this is a great song! After all these years!
Can not sit still when this is rattling the windows!
My windows got blown out in '83. ;D
Right?? I think we broke our glass coffee table when dancing to this at home in the 80s! Mother was not happy!
THIS IS MY SHIT!
Enormemente avanti
