I had a moment like that except it was in my favour (if you can call it that lol). Operation Gatecrasher: First time playing on Commander difficulty. Rolled a bad map with no elevation to help my Rookies with their Aim and rolled a Skirmisher as my hero unit. Engaged the first pod, low rolled on grenade damage, all three ADVENT Troopers survived, the rest of the Rookies couldn't hit anything. Troopers ganged up on my Skirmisher and killed them immediately. Finished the pod next turn. Activate next pod, managed to kill one Trooper, continue to low roll on Grenade damage, Trooper and Captain survived. I've already resigned myself to this campaign being a wash, two other Rookies are dead, leaving one unit at low health. Desperately retreating to High Cover, double move, but not far enough, so both Captain and Trooper get flanking shots on him. He somehow avoids both of them, gets into full cover and kills the Trooper. Captain in Full Cover Marks my soldier and shoots. Another miss. Rookie fires a 30% shot and high rolls to kill the Captain. Had to keep playing that campaign in honor of that man.
When you suddenly realize you're battling the protagonist
It was there Jason Bourne hahaha

I would have heavily customized him after that just so he's stuck out of the crowd. What epic story.
I felt this in my soul.
The sniper let me down the most she's literally my most accurate Soldier
@@Crisis_64
Oof, I've had that. My response is the meme of Obi-Wan saying "I trusted you!" Lol
@jameshunt9208 she was the chosen one she even had the best attachments out of everyone
@@Crisis_64

Thats pain. Just pure physical pain
I thought I was so smart putting them all in OverWatch only to watch fate take it from my hands
If only everyone who watched this subscribed, you have to oil up 😭
You're really going to hold me to that aren't you?
Oh no lollll
Yeah some of them even had attachments that made their aim better
and later on you'll get a 99% miss
Has that actually happen to you? 😱😱😱
@@Crisis_64 I missed a 100% chance once
You know what the way this game is I'm inclined to believe that
Why I quit Xcom.
I just can't seem to uninstall it I freaking love it hahaha it's the same with Souls games
Surprisingly, souls games are a lot more fair with gameplay mechanics than the xcom franchise
You know what I think you're on to something
LMAO XD git gud
I can't git gud cuz I already git goteded .... yeah that sounds right
