Thank you so much for these videos! I am in my last year of university and I am planning to make my residency in Sweden. Your videos are very useful, I've been watching most of them! Keep making them, you are great! 😃👌
De ce acolo?
Thank you so much for these videos, they were really helpful, but I cant find part 2, is it done yet?
Why did you choose sweden over usa or germany? I’d like to hear your reasons since I’m considering to do my residency among those 3, and thanks already for sharing your journey and giving us such valuable insights
Can you please make a video about how did you learn swedish ? Thank you for info 🙏
The mandatory internship for eu citizens is a salaried work?
Hey thanks for the video! That was very helpful. I have 2 questions.
1) If the med student is a EU-citizen but she/he graduated from an internationally-accredited medical school outside EU, how is he/she being evaluated?(for Sweden)
2) Do you think being an MD-Phd graduate would increase the chances of getting accepted in the residency program in Sweden?
Thank you. 🙏🏻
Thank you for your question! The degree is assessed as a Non- Eu degree and follows this path
How would you advise us to study for the exam if we learned the concepts and terminology in English? I know I’ll be able to learn conversational Swedish but learning all of the scientific concepts in Swedish seems a lot more daunting.
Yup definitely doable and definitely a challenge! Once you mastered the language it slowly all comes along!
Internship,, will you be paid
Please compare Sweden vs Germany
Will do!
Was about asking for that. Nice job
yes go for comparision
Hi tell us what is the procedure or test for non eu medical graduates to work there or study in medical pg
legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/en/licence-application/outside-eu-eea/doctor-of-medicine-educated-outside-eu-eea/
Are we paid in internship
If i graduate from the EU do i have to do the exam ? Or just the language course ?
Hi Alaa! No you don’t! Just language at the moment and BT internship that’s gonna be starting in the summer unless it’s rescheduled
I'd like to know how easy/difficult it is for a new medical graduate with no work experience to get a residency in sweden. thanks
From now on it will be mandatory for any medical graduate to go through a BT internship program that’s 1.5 years long. Means that everyone will have work experience. Now, the more experience you have over your competitors the higher your chances of getting the spot you want
@@noweyeknow7352 will BT be competitive to get into ?
@@Amir62273 If your degree is from europe you only need to pass the language exam.
@@noweyeknow7352 Whatttt since when? I thought you only have to do AT if you choose to do kompletterande utbildning instead of kunskapsprovet.
So AT is currently for Non- Eu graduates And Swedish medical graduates
Comparison with germany !
Total cost of getting Swedish residency, how long it takes?
Coming up in part 2!
@@noweyeknow7352 thanks
They conduct exam in svenska or English?
All exams are in Swedish :)
Can we hear why you had decided to go to Sweden?
Yes I’m going to make a video about that but in the mean time check the video How Sweden treats its doctors
