Those loops you weren't sure about are more for hiking and holding trekking poles. One on each side. I wonder if they work with a company that normally makes hiking backpacks. Thanks for the review, sold me on the pack. I also didn't know I could get it from Amazon.
I live in Englewood Florida where most of the residents are retired and can't see very well, also we don't have many street lights on the roads that I commute on my bicycle. I plan to order this backpack. I am pretty sure it will be more visible Marine Corps issue pack that I wear now.

I just ordered one of these for on my bicycles (all different kind of cycles) as I had been hit twice (no injuries) at traffic lights. Cars not seeing me even with my DRL lights goin. Probably were texting. I originally just used a cheapo backpack from Walmart but way too small and zero reflective spots. Paid $80. Idk if that's a good deal or not but biking is my only transport and like being seen. Literally the only video review I could find that wasn't "hey umm I got this for free, haven't used it, but it's great". Those are BS useless reviews. Thank you so much!! Glad I didn't waste my money. Didn't get to use your code because I ordered at the doctor's office today and believe it or not today was the second time I got hit by a truck mirror while riding the shoulder. It's like most drivers don't like cyclists or something and when they pass they do EVERYTHING in their power to get as close to me as possible without running me over. I've had people throw 32 ounce Gatorade bottles at my head before. It's insane. Most people suck. I appreciate you though!!

@@GromBeardo just tried my riderbag on a 40 mile bike ride to Harsens Island and I can tell the cars definitely see me much better now. I did get pretty hot and sweaty but I was on a bicycle. Don't think there's any avoiding that back sweat. Not as hot as my Ascend Jackson 31L hiking bag!
Eye love my RiderBag. It's perfect! It's lightweight, it's visible and not hot. And those whistles can come in handy if you crash somewhere alone off the side of a highway and you can't yell and you want someone to hear. You can also flash your cell phone light at the bag so someone can see you. Again this bag is perfect! Great review!

It's held up well. I don't use it every day though. Long term my only "issue" is the light color gets dirty easily, but that's on me🤣
