I had the pleasure to see Eric and his band 3 times in around the year 2000. After one of these concerts my lady friend & I were invited into the band’s dressing room by the keyboards player. Eric was so cool, happy and friendly and chatted with us and so did Aynsley Dunbar who was his drummer at the time. The guitarist took a photo of us with Eric. Eric gave my lady friend his bracelet made of wooden beads. We were with them for at least a half an hour. It was a wonderful night!
Some of us older folks are having a hard time watching this once gorgeous man with the beautiful voice form our youth grow old. Thankful he’s still around and didn’t go away like some of his friends.
a pub gig in sydney oz was there bridge hotel rozelle shook his hand and simply said thanks for the music and he was on his way a very cool dude indeed
Is this His Signature Tune? He sure seems to live life with the philosophy of 'It's my life & I'll do what I want'. Love the tune and I hope he's happy.
How the hell is this man still alive after the times he was fucked up? He is hands down my favorite singer but as far as musicians at that that time, he's far outlived the rest. I'm so happy though and my dream is to see him in concert.
I'm liking this performance more I watch it. I love how he sings a response to the guitar riff at 1:40. Kudos to Eric, didn't mess up the call and response at 1:10! Great band, guitar sound is so hot and Eric is in top form here, has a great sense of time and ad libbing. Maybe the coolest of English singers.
I agree with everything you said! He can effortlessly do whatever he wants with his voice which at times is like a musical instrument and his sense of timing is impeccable.
Without a doubt. I just had a guy ask me why I did not like Rusted Root. Let me count the reasons,...the Allman Brothers. The Doors, Zeppelin. The Animals, Beatles....etc
You are the Best, Man ! You Are the Guy. Thank you so much for to enrich our lives with many of the best musics that there are, as "It my life" ,"House of the rising sun", Inside look out ! ; i'm crying and many , many others . Eric Burdon, if you permit, "You are & will be forever, that the incredible Boy from England ,from the insuperable 60's to the world' ! I was born in the sixties. When I was just a baby (last days of 67, you were(& keep, the Guy .
OMG, I so love this group. I enjoy every song they have sung. I still cry when I hear the song We Got To Get Out Of This Place...reminds me of my dad. He used to love and sing this song.
One of the greatest bands during Vietnam war. I was in training at Fort Ord California. These songs played when they got a chance. We made it through! Thank you Eric you were a blessing
Oh wow this just played after the ‘65 live performance (the one where Eric misses the cue for the chorus first time). Comparing the voice between the 40+ years I can see now why he says his voice was too high sounding back then..almost nasally? I like both, though, it’s hard to pick one as better.
hotathlete2 the reason why they do that is it's the way they like to do it and not like the record company want it i've been in this business for almost 49 years as a session player hope this helps

After all these years, Eric Burdon is still the sexiest man to ever hold a mic.
Same distinct ears that he had in the 60s.
I love his music!

He had a great voice and was hot as hell ..but we all get old
He sounds better than ever but looks his age. His music will live forever ...

The music of the late 50s, 60s and very early 1970s were the best, they bring back some great memories.
Without a doubt.
I just had a guy ask me why I did not like Rusted Root.

Pra mim eu le ainda tá gato! Ah eu la!
give me a studio recording every time
otimo muitoooooooooooooooooo
They were my fav. group! Who was the old guy singing?
Eric Burdon, o mito da voz de lobo. :)
‼️❤️👏👍💃🕺
Normally, singers lose their high notes when they grow older Eric lost his low notes, not criticizing, everybody ages, it just something unexpected.
I don't think he lost anything.
when I saw him in Slovakia he was in much better musical shape, he sang better, though I like this too
Leho Right, and how old was he huh?????????
Eric is always awesome but this bass player needs to be replaced.
탄탄하게 늙었네요 보기좋게
2:50
He looks a little like the late Ian Dury
No but he sounds a little like him
Охуенно,самая лучшая песня у the Animals
who came here from cities skyline ?
What
American bad ass
I dunno why but once i imagined K-ON gals playin this xd
탄탄하게 늙었네요
Don't like the hammond organ. The organ used in the studio recording is a better fit to the overall mood of the song IMHO.
what about my version look up Fatboy Gingermegs Man cave
n cave
Funny. He is such a bad singer, but his voice sounds great. 🤔
Literally one of the best. What do you know?
Quelques fausses notes ...
I'm sorry but his singing days are over
And yours never began lol
From this amazing performance?
Sound sucks take it down
WOW ! HE SOUNDS BAD.
Eeeew they butchered their own song! How the fck does that happen!? 😂
