Great video Mr Steve Orwell looking sharp I'm the Wheels looks great I'm you could put chrome hub covers on the back to finish matching the chrome on all the wheels drive safely buddy 10-4🚛
Glad to see you here in PA!! I'm near Pittsburgh, myself. And man, those new rims make Orwell a handsome rig!! I've loved cab-overs for years, but only ever got to ride in one - never drive. While I was driving, one of my goals was to drive a cab-over. Sadly, it never happened as I don't drive anymore - but I have your channel, so it gives me good memories. Thanks for that, sir!
Looks bloody awesome just paint that hob blue refresh that the wheels look amazing and the hub blue with the truck blue Orville is looking the best of ever seen him great job Steve
Any videos you present, just keep showing Mr Orwell. He makes the videos interesting. Thanks. Come to NC more. I live in the central part of the state. I just spent 5-6 hours in the emergency room in Camp Lejeune from an accident. Doing much better now. This happened on Memorial day weekend.
Nothing wrong with painted axles with certain colors, and yes steve, Orwell blue is one of those colors. Keep the painted axles. I always ran the chrome lug caps with the red pete emblem on the end. They really look amazing going down the road. Keep it between the ditches bro. I miss my 89 379 long hood with the 4 n a 1/4 kitty Kat manual. Fuel mileage sucked but man would she walk away with a load. God speed
I also hauled heavy equipment. Had a trail king 50 ton detach, with a double axle jeep, triple trailer, with a double axle stinger with big cranes and trackhoes. I also ran a old double axle landall. That's what you should get next is a landall. Money making machine in the slow months. Not to mention you could help smaller towing company's with wrecks with it. OK I'm done, my handle is wannabe, 4 roger? I miss it man, that's why I watch your vids. I close my eyes and it's like I'm back in my old pete with the 3406, Eaton 13sp.
So orewell is looking so much better with the bling on him. In my opinion I'd personally go with a set of semi long can style lug covers. Go with plastic so you don't end up with rust trails on those great wheels. As far as the hubs. Personally I love the look of painting the hubs up. Go with that metallic blue. Then get small nut covers for those also. Just adds a degree of badass for something as chonky as orewell! Hope you're well and stay well sir.
Channel is going along nicely and your lucky to find a mechanic as there's none in my area.Wheels look good but i wouldn't put any covers on those stud pilot nuts because they suck and better to be able to keep an eye on them. The Cat sounds good with the right amount of coal, i always thought there was boost issues before and there was.Ps one thing i have been curious about is now that engine seemingly calls for a 1R0749 fuel filter and originally it had a 1R0712 which is a different micron size (the fuel is different now too) and you probably should be using a fuel lubricant but it would be interesting to try an old filter.Wix #'S were 33374 as opposed to 33674. Either way hammer down.
Orwell looks f%^&ing sick with the wheels dude. I really like the look. I like the centre hub painted and no caps on the lug nuts. Keep it simple with no nut covers, more to lose. Looks more like a real working truck, old school style, nice. Less is more.
Buy the small baby moon style center caps and blue lug nut covers then your set that's how i ran them back in the early 80s on a KW cab over i drove might be a little hard to find the chrome with blue reflective center lug nut covers they were at all truck stops back then when there were actual truck stops unlike today where mostly fuel stops but looking good
Hey Steve, like the wheels. We met back on Easter of 2023 at the petrol in Bordentown NJ. I would paint the hubs and no nut covers. That is old school. Nut covers are to much bling. Need some contrast with the shiny wheels. Blue hubs and natural finish lugs.
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. Axle covers lug nut covers leave the hubs blue like they are. Genuine old school look for Orwell. Thanks for sharing stay safe Steve.
Orwell Sure looks real good your question about the rims I think they look real sharp the way they look look now I would leave Them the way they are now know maybe get some lug nut covered my friend. Be safe on the road.
Old school classic look for sure. I was fortunate enough to travel through Carlisle, PA when Keen had the 362 fleet. May have been lucky enough to see Orwell when he was young. That Peterbilt look is awesome! Great job on the videoes Steve! Keep up the good work! Safe travels!
Look at them new shoes. I'd been waiting since the live to see the shineys, but I forgot just how much better they looked. I'd color match the nuts and hub to orwell, I love the pop of color against the polished. Excited to see a load going to my old stomping grounds of R.I. I'm curious if ill be able to tell where the drop is. Now we just have to get the rest of the bits polished up to look like the rears, and hope a matching set of ovals for the front falls out of the either. It would be cool if any of the youtubers that specialized in detailing would do a collab where orwell gets a spa day. Folks love watching things get cleaned, and not that you keep the truck dirty, but I'm willing to bet they could make it look like an almost new paintjob to us folks on youtube. Who dosent love watching degreaser or wheel cleaner make all the gunk fall off, or just how shiny paint can be when you get the oxidization off and organics out of it.
Great video of another long haul. I agree with you Steve on the classic look for your wheels. I also like how you take us along on the trailer as well as the side of the cab. Those stacks really make Orwell sound awesome when up and down shifting. Thanks again Steve for sharing your videos with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort! Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
Well I must say Orwell was really steppin' out there with them new shoes lookin' all proud and all with the shiney stacks and his chest out, well done Orwell !
Afternoon Steve I talked about wheels way back it's not bright shiny wheels that make the wheels go round pardon the pun.. it's your self Orwell and chris macanic and your family.. I like to watch because I was a international truck driver I all watch 2 sticks mark channel thanks Steve great video
I think you should do what you think is best for Orwell and hiring Chris a couple months back definitely was a good choice looks like Chris is doing a great job for you get the stepdeck finished get him certified with the company then he can go and load loads for you while your out on the roads possibly sometime later you may have to hire a 2nd mechanic for the shop glad your staying busy alot of truckers are hurting for money keep the hard work going Steve
Polished / chrome wheels are nice, but even nicely painted wheels help with less pull-overs by cops. They look at a seedy looking truck/tractor /trailer, they pull them over. If you don't have enough time or energy to keep 'em looking good, chances the mechanicals are the same too.
Hi STEVE You ask people to give you advice about your RIMS. Thanks for that but remember one thing: It's an old truck and new stuff won't go with it. The RIMS makes your truck look incredibly beautiful - and professional You ride it - Your choice how and what you do with it
Gotta go with the dish axle cap and leave the hub exposed. Throw some modest lugnut covers on there and you’re done. That’s how I set up my 359, I even have the same color axle hubs
job well done on the new wheels on orwell. i have always said, rims always make the vechicle look better. you stay safe out there steve.. orwell, im also here to see you roll that coal!!! lets go!!!
Yes, those wheels look fantastic sir! I just happen to be at Tractor Supply today and noticed the chains and binders they had so I checked them out. Holy Shit! One 3/8's binder is $90 Didn't even look at the chains after seeing that.....
Looking good Steve paint the hubs chome lug nut covers snd chrome axle nut covers . Just my 2 cents. If you polish the tanks lots of towel time . Stay safe brother.
Keep those gorgeous hubs blue, just freshen up the paint. Lovely contrast with the shiny wheels.
Paint hubs and bolts instead of those ugly covers.
I love the new wheels, even the paint scheme.....Every piece looks old school ❤.
Orwell is looking sharp. Keep it old school.
Love the blue center with the chrome studs.
Definitely go for your idea, old school for the wheel hubs. Classic look.
Bringing old school trucking back. Amen to that mate
Hi Steve nice upgrade how about chrome cover for axle and chrome lugs nuts covers. Would look old school for sure
Love the wheels and keep the hubs blue or if you don't, black would look ok. Orwell deserves a wheel upgrade, the old boy works hard for the money.
Boy those wheels really stand out and you are styling now! Orwell is looking good.
Great video Mr Steve Orwell looking sharp I'm the Wheels looks great I'm you could put chrome hub covers on the back to finish matching the chrome on all the wheels drive safely buddy 10-4🚛

Glad to have ya!
Leave the hubs blue but i wouldn't put on lug covers they just hold moisture and rust the lugs and studs/barrels
Orwell sure looks good with those rims Steve go with nut covers and hub caps,,old school
Kinda dig the exposed blue hubs if I'm honest
Woo hoo....Steve now that is looking real sharp. Love your style brother. Orwell is very happy.
Looking good, Steve. I go along w/ Chris-tape off the wheels and just kinda sand and repaint the hubs.
i would just paint the hub put stud covers the wheels studs less stuff to lose caps do tend to come off
No cap keep it old school looks good the way it is
He's looking good 🙂
Looks bloody awesome just paint that hob blue refresh that the wheels look amazing and the hub blue with the truck blue Orville is looking the best of ever seen him great job Steve

Glad you're doing better.
Steve and my opinion this is just my opinion they look just perfect the way you got them right now. Good job, brother.👍👍👍
Great look I don’t like covering hubs you can catch oil leaks when they nut covers are the only way to go
Chris is doing a great job
Paint the axle flanges and hubs with nut covers on axles. The hardest part is choosing colors.
Nothing wrong with painted axles with certain colors, and yes steve, Orwell blue is one of those colors. Keep the painted axles. I always ran the chrome lug caps with the red pete emblem on the end. Dish Cap & lugnut covers would be AWESOME
I think Chris' idea will look really cool.

Looks awsome now a little stretch would be awesome
Looks large and in charge with the new wheels 🛞
Orwell looks f%^&ing sick with the wheels dude. I really like the look. I like the centre hub painted and no caps on the lug nuts. Keep it simple with no nut covers, more to lose. Looks more like a real working truck, old school style, nice. Less is more.
Old School caps on the hubs & lug nut covers, old school looks ALOT better in my opinion.
I kind of like the blue hubs.Gives the wheels contrast.👍
I'm with Chris Chrome nut. Covers paint the hubs
I finally had an Orwell sighting!!! Yesterday, Hwy 57 southbound between Adell and Random Lake, 1:20 pm CST :)
Lucky!!
I'd love to get an Orwell sighting too, but I doubt we're going to get it here in the Cypress Texas area! ☺
Your multiple cameras are great!,
Buy the small baby moon style center caps and blue lug nut covers then your set that's how i ran them back in the early 80s on a KW cab over i drove might be a little hard to find the chrome with blue reflective center lug nut covers they were at all truck stops back then when there were actual truck stops unlike today where mostly fuel stops but looking good
Not a hater! Orwell is the sht as is. Now to harass you about the tanks....😅. Leave those hubs Blue!
Nut covers , paint the hubs blue with some hubcaps
I like the painted hubs exposed
Hey Steve, Orwell is looking amazing. Love that we are seeing the new rims, truck has never looked better.

Orwell looking sharp with new Kicks

Well I must say Orwell was really steppin' out there with them new shoes lookin' all proud and all with the shiney stacks and his chest out, well done Orwell !
I like the hub exposed and repainted look here lately. Especially since it's blue. But you can't go wrong with chrome caps.
Afternoon Steve I talked about wheels way back it's not bright shiny wheels that make the wheels go round pardon the pun.. it's your self Orwell and chris macanic and your family.. I like to watch because I was a international truck driver I all watch 2 sticks mark channel thanks Steve great video

I agree with you, old school truck, old school look. Repaint the hubs, slap on a stainless center cap!
Orwell is absolutely beautiful!

I think I like it the way it is
Really liking the new format . Mixing shop and trucking keeps it more interesting.
Not a trucker, watch for scenery. Your videos with scenery is fantastic
Old school looks great I won't not change anything
Your way on the wheels. Old school is always better.
Polished / chrome wheels are nice, but even nicely painted wheels help with less pull-overs by cops. They look at a seedy looking truck/tractor /trailer, they pull them over. If you don't have enough time or energy to keep 'em looking good, chances the mechanicals are the same too.
Hi STEVE
You ask people to give you advice about your RIMS.
Thanks for that but remember one thing: It's an old truck and new stuff won't go with it.
The RIMS makes your truck look incredibly beautiful - and professional
You ride it - Your choice how and what you do with it
orwell is looking share just the right amount of bling
I would go old school. I like the original looks.
Rodger that trucker!
Watching from Aotearoa, New Zealand
@FSC whats the story on the white freightliner classic xl with the 84" sleeper at the yard? At the 1:38 video mark.
Gotta go with the dish axle cap and leave the hub exposed. Throw some modest lugnut covers on there and you’re done. That’s how I set up my 359, I even have the same color axle hubs
Jamin with some heavy tunes starting out this episode!😊

Have you thought of polishing the rest of the truck? It would look nice.
Looking good Steve paint the hubs chome lug nut covers snd chrome axle nut covers . Just my 2 cents. If you polish the tanks lots of towel time . Stay safe brother.
