I have all kinds of needles(plastic, metal and bamboo) made by most of brands. Takumi always has the best quality and its bamboo is so smooth and beautiful.
When knitting large things the connections can loosen. Using a bit of teflon tape from plumbers supply holds the connection very nicely. Now I wish they would add square needles for those of us with neuromuscular diseases. Thank you.
Anne Summers No it's not, but the Japanese are known for their outstanding craftsmanship. My Takumi needles are the only ones I've never had issues with when it comes to manufacturing defects, and I own many brands.
