You're probably right, but remember that one ability in path of exile where you sweep your weapon and rocks come up? I made a successful build around that and have been hooked on it ever since. HotA is probably better, but I like the passives on Upheaval.

Good to see someone enjoying the game not following meta builds. Just play how you want and build around that. I personally like using hota.
