Mine passed away three years ago this November. Thank you for sharing this, reminds me of many fun days.
Ours passed away 6 months ago and its still hard to deal with but thank you for this, its wonderful to see the similarities.
I know it hurts long after they are gone. My 16 year old malinois passed away before we got Tundra and I can still see her every time I see hills. It’s so bitter sweet loving a dog so hard. Glad you were able to think of fun times you had with your GSP 🥰
@@808GT I’m sorry 😞 sometimes I watch other dogs online that are GSPs and for a few seconds it looks like it could be Tundra because they act so alike! Im glad you could find some comfort watching Tundra 💗
I lost mine 9 years ago and i haven't stopped thinking about her
pull the trigger and get another one ... life is to short and god put them here for us, the good people !
She is so adorable. Her puppy stage really brought tears to my eyes. So lovable and loving And she's grown into a beautiful young lady 🥰

@@tundrathegsp My girl was a rescue, so although i don't know her precise age, she still had that intoxicating puppy-smell. I estimate she's 8-ish now. Time moves way too fast. Enjoy your girl and all those fun activities. Best regards

I have german shorthaired pointer on my own,we bought him when i was 7 years old,i turn 18 this year and he turns 11,i have never seen more healthy dog of his age but i know he wont be any younger. while i was watching this video i cried out the whole ocean and ive seen all the memories he gave me,i love him so much and cannot imagine him not being with me anymore.this breed is only one i will ever have in my entire life
German Shorthaired Pointers are the greatest dogs their compassionate they protect their family members they're great!

I'm 73 yrs young I've had 4 GSPs all great dogs this is my last GSP I'm not high energy anymore he's 13 but all 4 were great dogs each in their own way.

Oh my gosh, that was so cute. I wish I had taken video of my girl like you did. She's just about the same age. She was 1 on June 15th. They act so similar. A lot of the same goofy antics. Like the sleeping positions.🤣. and zoomies. That was fun to watch. 💜🐾🐾💜

I’ve had 3 GSPs in the past. They all lived to at least 12. They are such wonderful dogs but do they ever crave exercise and running. They kept me in good shape getting them out for runs! I miss each one of them. They are so smart and loving. I was happy to see that you were doing some agility training. Mine loved to go to training class. One of them became a therapy dog. I took him to hospitals and nursing homes. He was a natural and loved to work. Enjoy your girl !
That’s so awesome one of your dogs was a therapy dog. That must have made him feel so good to make so many people feel warm and happy. That is such a valued job for a dog…thank you, we will enjoy her💗
I miss my GSP soooo much. She was the best dog I’ve ever had. She was goofy and neurotic but i would never change a single thing about her. RIP Marley.

Thank you so much for the loving memories ! I have had Short Haired Pointers for the most part of my life . We lived on a 240 acre farm , that being mostly woods and the dogs just loved every inch of it . When my last passed away we didn't get anymore because my wife and I are getting up in years now so we just enjoy are kids pointers when they come by . Such a blessing ! Thank you again !
Thank you for sharing your GSP pup with me. Today was a sad day for us. We had to say goodbye to our beloved GSP, Maggie, probably 16 years old. We were privileged to receive her from GSP Rescue of Texas.
Loved the video she's a great pup. we got a pair of mixed GSP's from our local shelter brother and sister they look just like a GSP but they are only 30 lbs. The shelter said no one wanted them because they wouldn't separate them from one another. Well there here now for over 2 years we love them both. I think they love their mom more than me though. lol

Oh I do so love German shorthaired pointers. My lady is 11 years old now. She runs the household to her routine. We love her so much. They're the most brilliant breed of dog. But, please don't dock their tails. Their tails are magnificent & so expressive. I don't understand the long leash in the sea either. These dogs respond instantly to your command, so they'll never lose sight of you and don't need to be on a leash (maybe as a puppy?)
This video made me smile. It reminded me of the good times I had with my GSP. Her name was Cabo and she was a good listener when I needed someone to talk to.

Yup! That's a GSP. With enough exercise they are great family dogs. Don't think a walk on a leash constitutes exercise. The crazy scenes in the living room are cute but real behavior in an under-exercised GSP puppy. And the sleeping scenes are real behavior of an exercised GSP puppy. They want to be loved, touched and slept with. Thank you for showing Tundra in all stages.
My 4 year old girl Mamacita is a match for Tundra. The best dog in the world!
Omg it was like reliving our last year. Our boy Bentley turns one on April 24. By far my favorite breed I have ever met. We joke that it’s Bentley’s world and we just live in it.

Hoping that one day I can walk her without a least as well. Not there yet. They are such wonderful dogs! 🥰
Thank you. I agree, it’s their character that really make us love them so much. Walking off leash will take time and patience but it’s so worth it when you see them run free. That is when they’re the happiest. 😊
@@tundrathegsp YES!!! She tolerates the leash now, but I can tell it kind of annoys her because she wants to run free. 😁. Have to keep her leashed for now for her protection.
Reminds me of the quiet puppy times i had with my GSP. At five years he doesn't stop playing. Best breed for moutain biking.
We got our GSP around the same time you guys did - he’ll be 1 on sept 19th and it’s been so fun watching these videos of tundra because they are so similar!!
It’s funny how similar they are! This is our first GSP and we had no idea they were so goofy and sweet 💗 we don’t have any kids but now I know why parents cry when their kids get older 😩

Great video. We have a 2 yr old GSP and we nicked named her "Crack". This dog has the most energy from 6am till 8pm, then lights out not a peep the entire night. We have her going through training and spend a ton of time with her, but wow, it's a lot of effort.
Totally agree. They have energy the moment they’re up and won’t chill out until the sun goes down. Crazy dogs 😂

I got a gsp 6 weeks ago. She was black and white and 3 weeks ago we took her on a walk and a bull ran her over and she died. I miss her so much
Great hunting dogs, natural pointers. I had to put my GSP down at 14 years old. She developed severe pancreatitis, couldn't keep her food down. 😥

My male dog just hit 6 months and is already 55 pounds and stands about 24” tall. Does the growing stop or slow down a lot around this age?
He will keep growing and slow down a bit after 1 year old. He’s a big boy and might grow up to 70-75 lbs max. One of our followers said her gsp kept growing until she was 2.
