The most hilarious part about this movie and the story is, yes, the kid was signed because he was good at the game. The moment he got behind the wheel of a real car and actually raced, it was clear almost immediately that he didn't have the slightest clue what he was doing. Real physics trumped video game physics very quickly. The kid didn't become a great racer until after they pulled him from races and began actually training him.

This movie was a great surprise.
The Mighty Ducks and The Jamaican Bobsled Team on wheels
Y'all pretty much have the same feelings I had, the commercialism definitely dragged the movie down for me it's probably the weakest movie I've seen this year, at the same time though it still wasn't bad, cuz I try not to see bad movies
Saw it in 4DX. Thrilling movie. Like the 80s. Motivational.
I guess the Dounle toasted crew hasn't heard of flight simulators.
Does this mean I can finally stop seeing this trailer in theaters?
Yes 😂
You puked on my lawn
Having a love for cars and racing is what spoke most to me, while having a couple beers watching this and shedding a few tears😢 both videos games like need for speed and Animes like initial D🎉🎉
Make WIPEOUT PURE into a movie
The most hilarious part about this movie and the story is, yes, the kid was signed because he was good at the game.
The moment he got behind the wheel of a real car and actually raced, it was clear almost immediately that he didn't have the slightest clue what he was doing.
Real physics trumped video game physics very quickly.
The kid didn't become a great racer until after they pulled him from races and began actually training him.
I would love to hear you guys movie review on the old movie Set It Off with Queen Latifah
This movie is better than most video game adaptations out there and better than what people initially think.
Man please it was fire 🔥
It feels good having my suspicions confirmed - that I have already seen this movie without seeing this movie 😅
Y’all really hated on a good movie lol
Shame On You'll, I Think, For You'll Didn't Mention About Race Car Movies Tittles Like Grease Lightning, Days Of Thunder, Stroker Ace & More. Let's See If Microsoft Xbox Forza Hit In The Big Screen Cinema Theaters. It Will Get Bomb At The Box Office. A Lackluster Movie If They Making It.
That trailer did not help
AT ALL
Yeah I knew this movie won't be very competent on the plot even as a racing game fan. Still, it's a welcome addition to the video game adaptations list.
One of my partners son is in this movie. 🥰
Quarter mile at a time
We're family
This is as much a video game adaptation as The Wizard is
I enjoyed the movie but im a fan of the games
Love the movie!
I'm still waiting for District 9 2
One of the worst reviews they have ever done in their lives. Certainly dishonest and missing the heart of the movie because they focused on the sony logo. Embarassing The movie was fantastic.
blomkamp is _PERFECT_ to reboot robocop
Wrong
Eddie the eagle is the only sport movie that I enjoyed
And there was nary a Welsh accent to be heard…
Who is honestly surprised
But does it teach you how to fly Harrier Jets?!
if the developers worked on a jet simulator, you could at least learn the controls - the physical aspect, not so much
Isn't that illegal?..................
