I just reused the clips that came off rubber seal. The "clips" that came with it were too small and broke easily. My bug deflector is mostly being held in place by the end bracket clip. They need to redesign how to mout
Had the similar problem, end clips coming loose, AVS who makes it has been zero help. Guess what I took off the other day.
Very nice. But if your vehicle is dark in color, I highly recommend you highlight the area where the pushpoints go with white marker or paint. I also recommend that you throw an old white sheet or something like that over the front end of the hood area as long as it's done safely. Engine off and the area cool to the touch. If you have big fat German fingers like mine, you'll be looking for parts. 😮😅

It is NOT a bolt on install. If you have two people it would be easier. I had multiple plastic screws break off and thanks to WeatherTech they sent replacements :-) I wish I could upload photos but ended up making it work by tossing the cheap plastic screws and replacing them with stainless steel sheet metal into the supplied plastic push in grommets. I own a LOT of WeatherTech stuff and am really surprised how poorly designed this was. If the cheap plastic push pins were replaced with something more sturdy it would really help. Hopefully this will last as long as my previous GM parts (which are not available for my 2023 Silverado)
what is the tool called to remove the clips< can something else be used?
A PIA to install and agree with the comment below about the cheap plastic fasteners. Product fail.

I returned mine. The hardware is cheap and I cannot see this unit staying on the truck very long.

Video looks great but in real life the fasteners are junk . It wouldn't last a drive around the block or a car wash . I taped out the four holes in the hood for 1/4 x20 bolts and used 3/8 long bolts and installed it correctly and tight it will never come loose. I had to do the same thing years ago on my Ford van . Never had a problem with it .

Does it hold up in automated car wash
Does anyone know where I can get replacement fasteners for the deflector? Legit having a tough time. Unless I have to buy the whole thing over again.

The one for a new Camry lays flat on the hood. Glued on flush. I don't recommend it.
I don't think so! Too much and install nowhere as easy or good as Robmotive did on his Tacoma!
