The cracks in the runway at end give it away at end but honestly it’s not progressed as much as I think ppl thought it would especially considering the trailer that was released. The 2024 trailer is a scam to what you see in the real sim which is better in some ways and worse in others. I’m still using 2020 until major improvements occur.
Guys, don't judge by this video. Check me out and you'll quickly see how superior flight sim 24 is. I have videos too. The trailer is actual game play and I promise you isn't a scam. I been flight simming since Win 95 and have over 2500 hours in 2020 and over 100 (and counting) in 24.
@@BijanStewartthey did the EXACT same thing with 2020. How do you guys still fall for this? I said it the day they announced 2024 “it’s gonna be a flop, overpromised” etc, and I got meme’d for saying it. Now nobody is apologising of course. Nobody dares to say “sorry man we were wrong”
you can tell the mountains are better defined on the right screen which im assuming is msfs24. The ai buildings look better in in 2024 as well. Other than that no extreme differences.
Delete this 😂😂😂 2020 still out performing 😅 let them get 2024 together lol eventually 2024 will be better with more stuff it has but it’s not there yet.
In this scene the differences are minimal. I do think 2024 looks a bit better. However, the point of 2024 (apart from the career mode) is that is has a lot more upward potential. They extracted everything they could out of the 2020's 'DX11-non CDN-based' platform. By demand from the community, they released a DX12 version (perhaps as prerequisite to the 2024 platform) somewhere down the line. But the rest of the platform with the all the downloadable packages could not grow further. You could argue that 2024 is not a 'finished product' yet. I can agree. Many things need ironing out (like 2020 after release). But we're just one month in and there is lots to come.
Honestly, each looks better in different ways. The one on the left appears to have higher resolution terrain elevation data, and I wonder whether either the sun is positioned in such a way as to make the reflections in the windshield visible unlike on the right, or if there are some graphics settings running lower on the right. The right has more detailed ground clutter and, I think, slightly better colouring.
I'm curious, were you using any reshade or anything for 2020 here? The colors and atmosphere look so much better than what i remember 2020 to be. In that aspect 2020 looked more like 2024 to me here haha. Edit: Ah! Nvidia filters! That explains it lol
Left is 2020 Right 2024. I honestly thought Left was 2024 until I noticed the cracks in the runway. FS2020 Is looking way better from the sky than 2024 in this example! Crazy
I wasn't sure until I noticed the one on the right had a better-rendered cliff face on a hill/mountain, which is one of the improvements in 2024. But other things looked better in the one on the left, like the water, for example. I'm pretty sure the one on the right is 2024, which makes me wonder why I spent $AU300 on it and $AU6,000 on a new PC instead of just staying with 2020.
This footage looks strange. It seems it has been color graded. MSFS 2024 and 2020 do not have the same color/lighting rendition but in this footage they do...
Looking at some of the latest MSFS2024 videos, I see many of the MSFS 2020 bugs are still there, cars driving under bridges, they also often drive too fast for the roads they are on, still no real physics to call it a real flight simulator, exceed max flap speeds issues. Still no basic decent camera options like a Flyby or a Tower view etc which is present in every other flight sim. Asobo promised to fix this in MSFS 2020 but never did. To me all that seems different in MSFS 2024 over 2020, are new trees, slightly more detail in some areas, oh the showcase grand canyon they made a big fuss over, a new career mode, and slightly new atmospheric lighting. Other than that its basically the same sim, you can add ships to MSFS 2020 for free, and many other mods that alter the way it looks and flies. MSFS 2024 is basically a cash grab. Offering very little over MSFS 2020, which itself still has loads of bugs that need fixing. Glad I never took the bait.
Definitely the right, but the jump incremental. It reminds a little of the leap from ps4 to ps5, whearas the previous gen. was like going from ps3 to ps4.
I think the one on the left is 2024 cuz there are a lot more skid marks on the runway that reminds me of 2024. But really........................................................... You're not going to tell us???
I assumed 2024 was on the right, as the mountain terrain looked more accurate and lighting maybe looked more realistic. However, the left, which I'm assuming was 2020 had strikingly sharper buildings, as if 2024 was blurred with a filter almost. I don't know if that's by design, supposed to accurately depict haze, or not. But ultimately, I felt both had bits that were better, and worse than the other. Great video!
Great comparison. Love the fact that we dont entirly know which is which. fior me msfs2020 because it has all my mods, and it runs way better than 2024 for me. also my wifi is bad so untill we get some type of downlodable things im sticking to old faithful
I think Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 looks better than Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Just compare the clouds.

The trailer definitely oversold 2024. Makes me wonder if it was not real game play in the trailer.

I like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 better. For now.

the runway details :)
Mate they look the same, if not worse on the right….
lol.. funny how you said you saw differences and people replying trying to tell you that you didn't see shit! 😂

The boats popping up at the end gave it away
Once I saw the ship, I knew what was what. But to be honest: in IFR the difference of both sims dont make such a huge difference.
MSFS 2024 at right?
Correct!!
@SamvanBreda nice)
@@SamvanBreda Well it shouldn't be because it looks WORSE.
I thought that msfs2020 was real life, definitely a scenery downgrade
I prefer the 2020. Looks more realistic 🎉
MSFS 2024 on right because there are more buildings than left at 3:10.

Both were recorded at same weather and same exact time
I think the left one is from MSFS2024 'cuz it seems more like a contrast enhancing mod. And I won't deny that I like it.
I'd say left is 2024 due to the grainy glass with higher reflections.
Incorrect
@SamvanBreda lol

Msfs 2020 has more detail and more live in it. 2024 got nice colors but the detail isn't really better and the traffic doesn't move so much
I wasn't sure until I noticed the one on the right had a better-rendered cliff face on a hill/mountain, which is one of the improvements in 2024. Which one was which one though? Was the left hand side one the 2024 version?
'
Nope
This footage looks strange. It seems it has been color graded. MSFS 2024 and 2020 do not have the same color/lighting rendition but in this footage they do...
MSFS 24 is on the right, but with the landing Left (msfs2020) looks more beautifull
How you like it so far ?
Rex atmos?
Finaly proper side by side and right (2024) wins! Now going to play it :D

Its the right which is 2024
Look at the title page, it's rather obvious...
Hahaha tricked you

NO, 2024 is on the left.

2024 on the left
Not apples to apples....you're showing a modded MFS20 and a vanilla MFS24 - not even a remotely accurate comparison.
Which side u thinking is what
2024 👎
2020 👍
Mfs 2024 is little bit buleist
2020 looks more realistic 😮🎉
Nope the water is too bright and unrealistic
Left , Gauche
2ez lol. 2024 looks terrible. its on the right
Hmmm
lmao
getting half frames on 2024 for this small improvement... I'm staying with 2020
Jesus loves you guys, I hope you have a relationship with him, he loves you all, God bless!
prefiero el fs2020
left side is fs2020 because definitely better performance, is smooth
2020 is waaaay better..
Which side did u think that was?
You think that neon blue ocean on short final is better? lol
