This is probably the best "how to" mechanic video I've ever seen. No details skipped. Great lighting. Clear visibility of where and what they're working on. Thanks guys!

what more can I say? After a weekend of pushing the G35 (120+4.5r) through historic R66 and 95N. It was imperative to see Dr. J. Blessed to know such a genuine person, brought it back it to life! From the ashes rose Golden Eagle...to be continue...

Sincere thanks man! I'm NOT a mechanic. I'm a musician. See the problem? I used this video for my FX35 with great success. Wrench sizes and nut locations were spot on. I ended up just tightening drive belt, eliminated the cold start screeching completely and saved 50 bucks. Thanks again!

I would definitely advise pulling the fuel pump fuse and disconnecting the negative post before cranking an engine even to tighten a low torque fan nut like mentioned at 17:01. Especially with high compression engines, one strong slip equals - "Look mom, no hands!"

great video , planning on using this to do my 05 g35 coupe , I have the rev up so I believe my fans are electrical..
reason I'm doing my belts is bc whenever I turn my steering wheel to the far left/right , there's a loud screech on Cold start , and minor screech when warmed up .
could that be bc of the belt being too tight or the belt itself ?

@shoplifetv Please help me I bought a 2001 Nissan Skyline INFINITI 300GT Sedan 3.0L V6 recently but every time I start the car the engine would squeal and if I rev it the noise gets abit louder but after like 10min of warming the car it the noise settle downs abit but you still can hear it a tinny bit. So my Question is the problem coming from the Serpentine Belt + Belt Tensioner Idle Pully ? If so should i replace both my belts & both tensions pullys at the same time or just the belt only ? Also one last Important Question and that is can I use the Serpentine Belt & idle Tension Pully from a Nissan 350Z (Z33) 3.5L V6 24Valve and put it on the Nissan G35/300GT V35 Car since they are the same engine anyways right ???

Please clarify order of dust shield and spacer. So is the order dust shield , spacer, pulley, dust shield, spacer, washer , nut on the ac side? You went to fast on that part of the video.
Then also clarity the alternator/ps side.
Because I'm doing my 2003 G35, and pretty sure there's also a washer right before putting the nut back on.

My name is Pamela, I have a situation. I have a 2000 Infinity I30. I was told my fan belt was broke that cools the radiator. I had went and bought the belt, even told the salesman what kind of car I had. He sold me the built that supposedly went to my model and make of my car. Started to change it out. To my surprise the fans had wires running to it and no belt. So my question is does an Infinity i30 2000 have a fan belt to cool radiator?

    • @austink6447

Pamela Robbins if there's wires then it's an electric fan, most likely you're thinking of the water pump belt that broke

If it wasn't for this video you would not know the Dayco 89156 part # for the A/C pulley side. Has anyone besides me searched recently both pulleys. You can only get 89150 for the other side. Total pain, it's like Infiniti told the third party makers you can only sell one pulley. Even Dayco doesn't list the 89156 for the G25. A++ on the video review, even though l went underneath to change belts.
