The animated shows you watch on TV spend little under a month working on one episode, and they're funded by networks and have entire animation teams at their disposal. This guy does everything by himself, you can't possibly expect him to work that fast.

Not only the animation is great, his use of colours is actually really impressive. A lot fo people complain of how long he takes to get a video up, but if you pay attention to the details he puts into his videos the man is really fast!

Harry does indeed animate frame by frame - no rigging or tweens involved. However, while he does animate at 24fps, he animates "in twos", so 12 frames each second. He also had animation assistance for this episode, but yeah, for the most part, he *does* draw each frame again and again.
Ya know what I don't get? This epicly done animation and storyline is put together SO WELL & animated so SMOOTHLY! & its all done by one person. so whats up with American cartoons lately (TV shows)? Our stuff has been choppy,not as intriguing in plot & isn't as smooth as the oldies - in a animation studio like CN they have over 30 people on staff - Yet animators on YT do their own shorts and the quality is so much better. I agree with everything you've said, I'm just adding onto your argument. Also it was 1700+ frames for this one (not counting credits) if its at 24 fps and this is a shorter one. Also if he is uploading once a month from now on he has probably mass animated the next 5-6 episodes over that year. He's just gonna release them with month intervals.
True...but they've ALWAYS had a deadline....in the past (like 1960's) 'deadlines' didn't seem to prevent them from making very smooth animated shows (and thats 60's TECH -we've got better programs now.....right?) . I have yet to see Tom and Jerry quality animation again...-3-;

This would do well as a special edition of The Starbarians I think if Harry Partridge is going to realese his animations on DVD, which I'd highly recomend, I would buy it.
Part of the reason is they have to come out with up ten or more 20-minute episodes EVERY month, while Harry puts out several minutes worth of animation once in a few months. True, they have much bigger budgets and man-hours, but the amount of animation they must make is too enormous. Though maybe if Harry had a staff of animators to do in-betweens and other boring stuff for him, he'd be much more productive.
11 out of 13 isn't a bad score, bro. I would say a bad game must have a score of 7 or under. Also, I can agree on San Andreas being fun, though I would probably say they are just about the same when it comes to gameplay. You can practically do whatever you want in those games, it's great! Though, you have more options and things to do in Skyrim... And newer games usually best the older ones...
