Pixar called, They want their entire staff back. Seriously, that's how good this looks. Keep up the amazing work! Animation is amazing and I hope you never stop the great work.
The animation is one of the strong points of this series, immersing us in a rich and fascinating Disney-style universe! Character movements are fluid and realistic, facial expressions are nuanced and expressive, and colors are harmonious and contrasting. Each scene is a feast for the eyes, taking us on a journey. This series clearly demonstrates great artistic and technical talent, and honestly deserves a massive audience!
The fact that this is disney quality animation FOR FREE really blows my mind- Every single moment is in high detail and nothing looks choppy. REALLY DESERVES MORE LOVE AND ATTENTION THAN WHAT ITS GETTING

Holy crap. This is actually phenomenal. Like literally everything has genuine care and attention put into it. The voice acting, the writing, the animation, the music, like I'm genuinely surprised an indie team put this together for UA-cam. And I love how it hints at a bigger world, I'd really like to see where this goes.
Thank you for keeping the western alive. The western truly is America’s contribution to mythology. The Cowboy stands alongside The Pirate, Ninja, Knight, Spartan and other historical/mythological figures that will never be forgotten.
Characters and story line are both fantastic. I’m 70 and watched the whole thing and can’t wait for the second episode!! Now I have animation that is well made, entertaining and “wholesome” (old fashioned concept?) to share with my grandkids - thank you!
Wow this show is impressive. This episode far surpasses Disney's latest movie in every way. The fight choreography was beyond incredible, and everything is rendered so well, i feel like i could reach into the screen and touch the world. All the models are very well crafted, the voice acting is amazing, and the writing is very well thought out. It has the perfect balance of realistic and cartoony, never leaning too far in either direction. I am stunned at how well this turned out, but knowing how much the team behind it cares about this show, it's not a surprise. Fantastic work!
A good cartoon is when you immediately immerse yourself into the world and feel comfortable. Good storycrafting is when you keep wanting to know more and more about the characters, the world they live in, and the history of where they are. This is an outstanding beginning and I can't wait to see what happens next!
I love this, the thing that really got to me the most is the fact that all the mechs are VISIBLY fearful or in pain and the people just don't care. If the mechs don't count as conscious people then why do they flinch when people try to hit them? Why do they make 'unnecessary' noises if it wasn't in order to communicate? The character of McCoy makes me wonder if the whole world setting is like that to mechs or just Meridian. This story has so much potential, I really hope it blows up and gains traction quickly like other recent indie animation projects. And Six is adorable btw 💕
Yeah. I thought he was gonna be like the narcissist from Beauty and the beast given how he was introduced but the moment Pearl laughed at his small joke I knew they were on good terms and he wasn’t like that. 😂

This was a fantastic first episode, I've been following this project ever since the teaser trailer came out and it's great to finally have it here. The whole team that worked on bringing this to life did a great job. I can't wait to see the next episode. I'm definitely going to share it with others, hopefully it gets the attention it deserves. See you space cowboy.
The fact it has a mix of Cowboys, Ninjas and mechs? Sign me in for the next episode! This is awesome! Can't wait for more in the future, im already hooked
I found this by chance and I'm so happy I did!!! The animation, the visuals, story and VA work! All stunning!! I'm so happy all these indie projects are finishing their pilot episodes and publishing them, they're so amazing!!
Ok, I'm gonna be honest. I'm surprised this hasn't blown up yet. I've been Following Indie animations since hazbin hotel and OH BOY... This one is really promising. UA-cam indie animations have a certain style and charm to them, But this is far from a normal indie youtube animation and some times i just forget i'm still watching this on youtube. The quality of Disney/Pixar animation style is on part with if not less than the original sources. The slower paced storytelling is something that youtube series often Ignore because usually in pilots they're often trying to introduce many things in a more limited time, but I'm glad this show isnt afraid to take its time and the premise is intriguing enough to keep me on my toes for the next episode. The mech designs are also really good looking as well and their somewhat rusty look and movement is kinda reminding me of the 2005 Robots movie and some other times and in some specific scenes even Wall-E. Over all FANTASTIC WORK! Great job! Can't wait to see you guys Blow up!
This is what I’d expect from Disney. (If Disney was still good) Honestly, this was really good. The quality is amazing. GLITCH Productions would be really happy to see this.
This is top notch work. From the animations, sound design and effects, voice acting, music, environments, ect. not to mention 6 is super cute. Glad this popped up on my feed!
I found this episode very engaging, entertaining and a great novel idea. From about the start, I almost forgot it was an independent studio that made this; definitely on par with the best Pixar ever put out.
I love the character each mech has. You've really nailed the mechanicle-yet-expressive look that films such as Wall-e nailed on the head, but with its own distinctive style. The decision to set this in a Wild West setting is cool and I look forward to seeing where this goes! Also, I like the way Meridian is set up; the combination of coal-powered mechs and horses gives the impression that mechs are starting to become mainstream but their limited repairablility (maybe due to neglect/lack of understanding on the part of the townsfolk) has prevented them from replacing horses entirely. This adds to the conflict that tends to arise when something new is introduced to a society. Whether or not this is true in the lore, I like the worldbuilding and the approach. Great work!
….you know, the fact that each of these recent indie shows (this, Digital Circus and Lackadaisy) ALL have better animation than the most recent stuff Disney has made really says a lot about both the indie studios AND Disney lol. I hope this whole thing is going to be the kick they need in order to realize they have some serious catching up to do
Omg Pearls design is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I mean seriously! The green dress! The boots! The fingerless gloves! The face! The hair! It’s all so detailed and beautiful! I love her eyes! They’re so expressive! And I love how you justified her being seen as weird. I mean, who wouldn’t think that a girl treating technology like people was weird? But we still see everything from her perspective and how much she cares about bots! I love her character! The green dress really fits given her blonde hair. It makes for a really beautiful colour palette! So amazing! We NEED episode 2! Seriously! How long did this take to make? It’s absolutely amazing! It’s gorgeous! And I haven’t even started talking about the background characters!
Thank you so much! Yeah Pearl stands out visually - the slight green against the red dirt! We need fan support to make Ep2 happen: www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show Or if you can't, please help spread the word about the show!
I’m gonna be honest airship traveling ninjas was the last thing I was expecting from a show about robots in the westward expansion. But I’m not complaining. Keep up the good work and I hope you people can continue this amazing show
While I don’t personally think this is my cup of tea, (not really a Wild West kind of guy) I definitely see why people are loving it so much! The animation alone is God Tier quality for an indie animated series. I really hope you guys get the support you need and beyond cause I can really see this become a big thing! Wish you luck and keep up the terrific work!
For a first episode, this was fantastic. A little rough in the story, but I like the extra care with the characters. Voices were good and I enjoy the animation of the mechs. I look forward to the next one.
This is so neat! Great for all ages! Very creative and intriguing- have not seen anything like this before. I do not have enough words to describe this but it had so many unique elements and interpretations. Based on Western thematic art and history as well as bringing in concepts of innovation. The characters, voices, and overall experience makes me want to keep watching! Definitely intrigued by MechWest and hats off to all of those that have helped create and deliver this to us! Look forward to more of this MechWest! Awesome!!
Story is amazing, and I feel as if these Mechs are little friendly creatures... which makes me EXTRA mad/sad when I see them abused like this... Thats GOOD storytelling methods used there! GOOD JOB!
This is fantastic!! The animation quality is smooth and the concept is interesting, I would have never guessed all of this was an indie team!! Hope to see more of Mech West soon!!
Not really, blender aka "ai" has been doing all the heavy work for decades now. It's just fun not even work...unless u hate urself lol but seriously this stuff is just a fun hobby and art and some people are rich enuf in time and labor paychecks to pay for this but it's like ai can do all the work and even write the scripts all this could be are human voice actors but for all we know it's all ai designed and humans just do quality control maybe type out some signs in the walls and choose a few robot designs but the idea of wild West is super generic and boring that's why they chose it
I always liked the idea of a western with more fantastical elements. In this particular case, with robots. This world intrigues me, and I hope you all get to show us more. I especially hope that in a future episode, we get to see a train because I love the trains from the Wild West. Bonus points if the locomotive is robotic.
I'm 50 years old and I totally injoyed every moment of episode one. I promptly subscribed. I want to praise all of you that have come together to create this amazing work of art. I can't say enough to describe how great the " mechwest " show is . I'm 100% sure this is going to be a hit. Infact I personally would love models of each mech. Thank you sincerely for making this available and thank you all for the effort and excellent work to make this happen.❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! That means a lot. We do have some of the mechs for sale - Please help spread the word and if you can help us make ep 2 www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show
Hazbin Hotel, LackaDaisy, Digital Circus, and now this. Man, it’s amazing to see these indie animated projects getting a lot of love and attention. Goes to show how much animation fans have more passion and love for animation unlike executives from studios who don’t care *coughs* like WB’s ceo *coughs*
This is so different and awesome. It's not like anything I've watched before. Petition for part 2 on UA-cam please. I'm fan now, I subscribed and liked the video so fast lol.
I’m, oddly in love with this kinda plot. An advanced version of the west filled with mechs that consume coal, but a small mech has a seemingly infinite power source. I love it, any show or video that combines future with past is a W plot in my opinion.
Yeah! And can we take a moment to appreciate how frickin’ gorgeous Pearls design is? I especially love her green dress! It makes her stand out from all the warm colours everywhere so your eyes are gonna naturally look at her rather than anyone else! So beautiful!
All the men are burly and strong men depicted with big strong hands and hard working, while the women are depicted as trying to fine a mate and being a bit lazy. The reason I say this is because that’s exactly how the west was during that time. So they captured that image perfectly
This is a really cute series, I'm really glad I stumbled across it! I'll have to donate some money next paycheck. This looks like a nice feel good story and the world needs more of those
OMG CONGRATS!! it was so cool to see the promo and behind the scenes of this at Fan X 2023 slc, so happy for your guys! Excited to see more, this is so beautiful, even better than anything I was expecting! Congratulations to the team behind this, beautiful work!
Have just finished watching the first episode, and well, I'm totally hooked! What a captivating story. This is sheer joy, I absolutely love Six. Fully appreciate how much work goes into putting something like this together. Your team are doing an amazing job, and I will be on tenterhooks waiting for episode 2. Thank you!
I love this!! The animation is gorgeous and the characters are lovable! The story is really captivating so far, and I can't wait to see where this goes!
As someone who has pledged to the Kickstarter (and who really wants that toy version of Six), I want to point something out to fellow viewers: Right now, the Kickstarter is a little over 50% funded. And that's with approximately one person per 1000 views contributing to the funding. So, if even 200 more people give a pledge in the next couple weeks, I think this thing could get funded easily. Please, guys? I want to see this series continue. I want to see more movies and TV shows that are better than what corporations are making. (And for what it's worth... I can't get that Six toy if this Kickstarter doesn't reach the goal. I need my adorable little night light guy!) Ah, anyway. I just wanted to speak in this team's behalf. I hope this project succeeds, because I'm looking forward to it.
wow I don't think I've ever seen such a well-made web series, the quality is excellent, the protagonist is really nice and the robots are so cute. If you maintain such high standards you could become the best web series around and maybe what happened to Hazbin Hotel will happen to you. I wish you all the best and look forward to the next episode.
Very clean animation. Good character design, if a little simple. Love the setting and would like to know more about the world. The writing is a little simple, and the over all aesthetic (especially the random ninja bandits) felt very Saturday morning cartoon. Probably not something I would personally watch, but I could see it succeeding with a younger demographic. Hope you can continue it, definitely some good talent behind this.
Brilliant, well conceived and executed. Feels like the sort of concept that the OG Pixar would have green lit for a feature ... back when it still had it's priorities straight. -- Story is king and characters with heart draw the audience into the story. Loving the characters, eager to see the story to unfold around them. Thanks for this!
You should totally make more episodes!! I loved this one and Pearl is my favorite character! I love how unlike the others in her town, she actually cares for the mechs! I need to see more!!
Great animation AND great story? Awesome! You really need both to make a show shine, in my opinion. Great story building, btw, you all really laid out Pearl's character and how 6 works differently! My only criticism is that it wasn't clear at first that 6 "talks" through text under it's eye, but that might just be because I watched it on my phone. I'll definitely add my 2 cents onto this project!
I was just trying to watch the first minutes to get inspired as I am trying to to learn more about 3D and animation, I end up finishing the episode 😅 Good Job 💪

It's just fun not even work...unless u hate urself lol but seriously this stuff is just a fun hobby and art and some people are rich enuf in time and labor paychecks to pay for this but it's like ai can do all the work and even write the scripts all this could be are human voice actors but for all we know it's all ai designed and humans just do quality control maybe type out some signs in the walls and choose a few robot designs but the idea of wild West is super generic and boring that's why they chose it
@@AckzaTV are you sure it was all ai?ua-cam.com/users/shortsZ6eAqSj5W4w?si=8h1jqgzH94t51C1j
No AI was used.
@@sagegallagher 👍
I really like the animation and I really like the idea of cowboys and robot
Love it!! Nice job Dave and animschool studio.
thank you UA-cam for recommending this to me randomly. worth watching! I look forwards to the next release!
Awesome thanks! Please help spread the word and if you can help us make ep 2 www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show
It’s animated like a Pixar movie. Love it
I'm definitely getting some strong 2000s/early 2010s Dreamworks movie vibes
I always liked the idea of a western with more fantastical elements. In this particular case, with robots. This world intrigues me, and I hope you all get to show us more. I especially hope that in a future episode, we get to see a train because I love the trains from the Wild West. Bonus points if the locomotive is robotic.
Noted! ❤
Like I’ve been saying, indie Animation Studios will soon rule the industry
Ha, thank you!
@@mechwestshow I did not expect a “thank you” but you’re welcome
Seriously looking forward to more of this- I didn't expect to get as invested, but the Pixar-level animation quality is a real treat for the eyes.
Wow, let's help these guys do more stuff! A dollar per person makes the difference!! Can't wait for the next episode!
Even a dollar would help yes! www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show
I'm 50 years old and I totally injoyed every moment of episode one.
We do have some of the mechs for sale -
Please help spread the word and if you can help us make ep 2 www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show
Hazbin Hotel, LackaDaisy, Digital Circus, and now this. Man, it’s amazing to see these indie animated projects getting a lot of love and attention. Goes to show how much animation fans have more passion and love for animation unlike executives from studios who don’t care *coughs* like WB’s ceo *coughs*
Indie animation is getting bigger and better
THIS this is a hidden gem.
The animation is on par with GLITCH if not a bit better
Hope to see more of Mech West soon!
Thank you!
SIX IS SO CUTEEEEE
This is so different and awesome. It's not like anything I've watched before. Petition for part 2 on UA-cam please. I'm fan now, I subscribed and liked the video so fast lol.
Awesome thanks! Please help spread the word and if you can help us make ep 2 www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show
@@mechwestshow i will try my best. I hope this gets more recognition ❤️
Thank you!
Thank you so much! We are working hard on it. Please spread the word.
I love this!! The animation is gorgeous and the characters are lovable! The story is really captivating so far, and I can't wait to see where this goes!
As someone who has pledged to the Kickstarter (and who really wants that toy version of Six), I want to point something out to fellow viewers:
Right now, the Kickstarter is a little over 50% funded. I need my adorable little night light guy!)
Ah, anyway. I just wanted to speak in this team's behalf. I hope this project succeeds, because I'm looking forward to it.
Thank you so much! Yes, fans, come make sure Ep 2 gets made: www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show
Great quality! This is soooo Disney/Pixar-esque.... I seriously expected a jolly song in there somewhere! Keep up the good work!
wow I don't think I've ever seen such a well-made web series, the quality is excellent, the protagonist is really nice and the robots are so cute. If you maintain such high standards you could become the best web series around and maybe what happened to Hazbin Hotel will happen to you. I wish you all the best and look forward to the next episode.
Six is so cute !
The animation is incredible, i'm definitiely sharing this to my friends !
Yes same here! So cool!!
Love the idea, the animation is top notch. Hope this gets more episodes and maybe get picked up by Amazon or Netflix.
It feels like a mix of How To Train Your Dragon and Dinotrux mixed together... I love it!
Thank you!
Now this, this is cinema. High budget 3D animation on a series.
Thank you! Please tell a friend about it.
love seeing new indie shows popping up recently, this looks amazing! good job everyone that worked on this
You should totally make more episodes!! I loved this one and Pearl is my favorite character! I love how unlike the others in her town, she actually cares for the mechs! I need to see more!!
Please join us to help us make it. We need fan support! www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show
As good if not better than what Disney is doing at the moment
damn, i hope pearl makes some respect for the mechs, i hate seeing robots get mistreated
I was just trying to watch the first minutes to get inspired as I am trying to to learn more about 3D and animation, I end up finishing the episode 😅
Good Job 💪
I would dearly like to see this continue.
Thank you! Please help make Ep2 happen: www.kickstarter.com/projects/mechwestshow/mechwest-show Or if you can't, please help spread the word about the show!

That was Disney-Pixar quality.
It's really beautiful!! the art is amazing and I love the concept of the wild west with robots
Such fun! My family has watched it 5 times in a row and eager to see more! Ahahaha
Oh wow awesome.
It’s amazing to see so many wonderful indie shows on this platform, this episode is great, good on the creators!
