Alright, correct me if I'm wrong but the story line is that the Wolf and LRRH spotted each other in the woods and fell in love. They can never meet each other or else they'll be going the "right way" and all will go according to the story and the Lumber Jack will kill the Wolf at the end just like in the real story. So LRRH deliberately always takes the "wrong way" so that, even though they will never meet or be together, they can still always admire each other from afar.

Yep basically. Though which way is right or wrong is up for debate - in the tale they met cos LRRH took the long way around instead of going straight to her grandma so going there without stops would have been the right way there.

I love japanese songs, because every japanese songs has a deep meaning.
I love that line as well. I imagine it to be like: they want to be together, but the storyteller keeps on telling the original story. Their love isn't acknowlegded ("If you won't call this 'love'"), so it's not mentioned in the story ("there's no need for words").
Really? What I thought of that line was if they won't call it love, then there are no more need for words, literally.

Obviously, anime makes the scary wolf looks quite hot...If I was there I won't really care if the guy's a wolf or human, he looks like a human! the only difference is the fangs, long nails, ears, and tails anyway, which by the way adds up the cute factor in my list. It's not that she can't love him because he's a wolf. She can't love him because they live in the Red Riding Hood fairy tale. Their life is scripted, and they're not supposed to love each other. I agree though, wolf people are cute as fuck.
