Anthony Hopkins could stand and read the phone book on stage and his work is still head and shoulders above the majority of his acting peers. His performance as Lecter is indellible and his acting in Merchant's "Remains Of The Day", "Howard's End" " Nixon" and many others is superb. I look forward to seeing his portrayal of Hitchcock.

Jodie Foster won best actress and she deserved it as well. The idea that Kathy Bates handed Anthony Hopkins the oscar was epic and Kathy Bates is so classy and she won for Misery.

Kudos to Crystal and his writing team, people were laughing in the audience before he said a word, all they had to do was roll him on stage with that mask and the laughs started.
