I’m a huge gen 2 fan but regardless what gen I think any new game should be a brand new story or sequel to HG/SS BW2 with SV graphics . Not another remake of either gen. We shall see very very soon

Definitely more anxious than excited for tomorrow. I feel like it’s been awhile since we didn’t know what to “expect”. No DLC’s or whatnot for the main games that we know will fill time.
If we get chibi black and white, I’m just not buying it.
Would die for a new legends style game.
Also think they could milk the port scene with early gens and colosseum ganes

I wish they’d either port the Gen 1-3 games or bring over Pokemon Colosseum and XD. Loved those GameCube games and provided a fun challenge

I hate how everyone gives ILCA so much hate when GameFreak made them make it the way it ended up
Yes, I can only agree. If you look at ILCA's story, it was actually impressive how much they tried to get out of the Gen4 remakes even though Junichi Masuda has a nostalgia fetish and didn't want the game to deviate even a millimeter from the original.
For me, GameFreak is one of the most, if not the most, problematic game developers in the industry for the reason that they are untouchable.
I didn't even dislike the remakes... though I grant that the art style wasn't for everybody. I do like B/W enough that I'll take what I can get though, so idk.
@cankurt1696 well apparently they finally upset TPC so hopefully TPC will start actually caring about the games like they claim and give GameFreak more help to make their games better. Though I think now that Masuda is fully gone things might get better I mean he was the guy who thought we'd be happy not having the Battle Frontier in ORAS
Right?! I am so fed up of seeing the hate BDSP gets when considering the brief they got from GameFreak they did a good job. I guess my main frustration is that many people don’t realise that ILCA’s hands were more or less tied in terms of doing the remake.
Although I wish GF let ILCA cook with BDSP, I wasn’t necessarily disappointed with it and I loved playing through it again. I also find it funny because it was pretty clear when BDSP was announced that it was a faithful remake and it’s one of the best selling Pokémon game so I don’t know why so many fans are pressed as they clearly still bought it 😭
Bdsp just has no replay value to me or endgame that’s why I don’t care for them they were good the first time through
I'm physically praying there's a new legends game I loved legends arceus
I barely got through it, I tried to like it but got so bored so early. I beat that first boss thing and got the second area, it just didn’t get my attention
I am literally hoping that we dont get another legends style game. The idea was good but executed poorly. Plain boring open world, lifeless and empty. Same for the town and everything surrounding it.

@onyea I am really disappointed. I know GF can't execute a proper open world game that actually feels like it has live in it. Only good thing is if next iteration focusses on mega evos again.

Help! I wandered in because I was curious, but there's so much raw copium in the air that I can't see the exit anymore and I'm starting to hallucinate.
I am really hoping for either a remake of or a sequel to Pokemon Conquest, love that game, wasn't perfect but it was still amazing. Came out during Gen 5 so now might be a great time to bring it back, brush off the dust, possibly pair up with Koei Tecmo again for it or some other company to use their own characters instead of the Samurai Warriors ones used on Conquest.
I have a bit of a theory. It's a bit of a stretch but hear me out. So in scarlet and violet they came out with paradox Johto Beast trio and paradox Unova Justice trio. So what if they make a legends johto game and a future unova game, Just a theory but it'd be cool.
Me: I haven't played Pokemon Master EX for a while. Though we did beat the whole game despite not getting all the characters & Bouns
My Pikachu: but it was worth it since we beat both Stroy mode & The villain arcs post game/Finale
My Piplup: And honestly that game didnt had that much of everything anyways but we would recommend it to you guys if you like
Me: Though you know what... I'm never leaving the Pokémon world or anything about Pokémon in general. I even dream about living in the Pokémon mystery dungeon serise one day which will happen pretty soon and especially once we have completed all the games ( though the original and remakes we still count as the same game in my opinion ( My Pikachu ): Thought It's mainly what version we play is what matters when doing so )

I had never gotten to play the original diamond and pearl when I was younger, and I was glad to know that BDSP was a faithful remake of those games and had a great time playing it. Kinda disappointing to hear people didn’t like them

For people like me who don't have a DS or Gameboy advance in their possession, new versions of older games are a blast! I enjoy the old storylines. I've never played them. I do wish the graphics were a bit more like sword and shield though.
I loved when The Scarlet / Violet Blueberry Academy DLC possible Remakes of Unova Pokémon Black/White Remakes with the Blueberry Academy Students some Scattered around the Dome when you battle Students the the updated version of the Unovan trainer Battle Plays.

There's two patterns based on the switch's release schedule. Main game, remake of next gen. Or its a game by game basis. By generation we are due for black and white, and from game to game we're due for a crystal remake.

I really hope for a final patch regarding performance for Scarlet/Violet. If there's no serious patch for this game, I don't think i can trust future Pokémon games.

Majority of fans wanted the ORAS treatment and mega evolution. There were a bunch of fan art of mega garchomp and mega sinnoh starters, as well as fan concept trailers of a revamped DP

would love to get gen 5 remakes as there are some of those pokemon that still arent playable in the current system of games... also would love to see them either drop gen 1 to 3 in the nso or hell i would even repay to get them as stand alone titles on the switch with the 3ds updates and online trades... that would make it so much easier to do transfers and even get the n64 stadium games with the abilities to use your trained pokemon vs the rentals

Why is no one talking about a Pokemon Grey, being the 3rd title in Unova
with the image from khu because of the color scheme i thinking it might have something to do with the Pokemon gray that was trademark found some yrs ago
2025 is the 15th anniversary of Unova so makes no sense for Unova remakes right now. Expect Johto Remakes probably by ILCA and maybe a Legends: Kyurem Game but that may not come until Next System in 2025 anyways. I hope ILCA makes it Let's Go Style and not BDSP.
Brother man, another BDSP style game will still sell more copies than a Legends game and I'm thankful for that.

If they do a remake of black and white hopefully there will be an easier way to shiny hunt than in the originals. I get it that shinys are too easy nowadays but it took me way too long to just get a single shiny in black 2. I really just want a new legends game. The most fun I've ever had in a pkmn game was shiny hunting alpha pokemon. I have 63 of them 🔥
I would love another legends game and I think now they have made free roaming a part of the game it would be so hard to go back and play a static town to town one. I have all the old games and would rather play them, then buy a direct copy of it.

Honestly a faithful remake for Black/White wouldn’t hurt as bad as BDSP. Not only because we have lower expectations. But vanilla Black/White was much better than Diamond/Pearl.

Diamond and pearl remakes were great. I would have liked an expanded dex but im tired of all these gimmicks from newer games. Scarlet and violet dont feel like pokemon games to me. I hope they move a little more in the classic direction of simplicity.

My only problem with BDSP is that they remade the inferior version of the Sinnoh games. I was excited to revisit the Distortion World in enhanced graphics, not to mention the Battle Frontier with enhanced move pools.😞

BW3, I love ghetsis as a villian. He hits different then the rest. I really want a legends johto game. Well kanto, johto, and kitakami maybe? I'm not sure but kanto/johto are small compared to sinnoh if you look at their real life counterparts on a map. Plus in that setting, you have apricot balls which I believe predated pokeballs. A legends game about the original dragon can't really work because I'm pretty sure its before pokeballs and people made friends with them kinda like the diamond and pearl clans. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
