  • An aircraft carrier allows the United States navy to move an entire airport, along with 70 to 80 fighters, bombers, and support aircraft anywhere in the world where there is an ocean, This ability gives the United States incredible flexibility, because there is no need for treaties or permission from other nations, With a speed of approximately 700 nautical miles per day and bases on both the east coast of the United States and in Hawaii, aircraft carriers can arrive anywhere in the world in less than two weeks.

    They’re now using F/A-18E/F Super Hornets which are _very_ different from the hornets, and EA-18G Growlers instead of Prowlers.

      Its actually a public documents how the US Navy sets up its battlegroup. In fact, there is a lot of "secret" infor that is BY LAW discoverable thought the Freedom of Information Act. At the end of the day, Clandestine operations is nothing more than getting such public documents.
      ....its illegal access that is (with no sarcasm) a dumb thing to make public.
