I've just binge watched your damp caravan repair series of films. What a fantastic job you did, very impressive. You are a lovely couple and I hope life gives you happiness and success. Never stop appreciating what you have and most importantly each other. Thanks for posting.
I quit teaching last year for the same mental health reasons, I started a guitar business and live in a caravan now. So this rings a lot of bells! Happy to hear I'm not the only one :) And with the price of living at the moment I don't know why more people don't choose this route. Looking forward to seeing how your adventure develops! Best wishes x
Ah! I've just replied to your other comment, but the question I asked there has been answered here! Glad to hear that you've made the changes that you needed. Where in the country are you?
@@TheMcNeillsonWheels thanks for the reply! 😊 I’m in Middlesbrough. I resigned from teaching in March 2021 and started my guitar business in a workshop right next to the Middlesbrough football stadium. It took a few months but now I’m super busy with jobs and love it. It’d be great to meet you guys at some point, my van has exactly the same layout as yours, so your videos have been priceless for me 😁 your business adventure looks great! How goes it?
@@Agrajag_Guitars Awesome. I'm from Whitley Bay originally, so know a little bit of Middlesbrough. Did you teach there too? I know there's some tough schools that way. We like to holiday around Middleton in Teesdale and hope to get there over summer. Keep an eye on social media and you'll see where we are and drop us a line. Always happy to meet up with like-minded folk!
This is honestly so lovely to hear ☺️ I remember finding your channel a year or so ago (watching from a different youtube account) as me and Jonny were planning to change our lives but had no idea we would be embarking on vanlife. As you said, Vanlife for some is a temporary measure, and it will be for us, but we don't know how temporary. Now, as we prepare to head off to Ireland in to the unknown, it's nice to see that your story has started a new chapter and one that is so fulfilling! We're hoping to get that head space you talk about to really start doing what makes us happy 😊
Glad to hear that you are starting off on your journey. There's this strange sense of it having to go on forever, when this simply isn't true - you do it for as long you feel necessary. Good luck to you both.
Well after a damp caravan search,I found you.what an inspiration you 2 are. And your longer term road trip is only postponed till the time is right. You've adapted time and time again.Plus I think your right, van life, I think helps people re evaluate what's really important. Your hair looks stunning too btw. Good for you guys keeping it real and honest. Congratulations and all the best for everything you do next. 👍🤞❤️
Thanks for your lovely comment! We’ve had an amazing summer touring and the business is going well, so we feel enormously grateful for that. Looking forward to being in a property this winter for the comfort factor above everything else! Take care
First time watching your video. Really inspiring - I'm sure a lot of people can relate to what you say. Just moved ashore after 6 years on a boat. It's life - it changes. You cant see it coming it just happens. Thanks for the video and good luck.
Thanks, Robert. Boat life sounds amazing, but I reckon that it's more challenging than caravan dwelling! I like how you phrased 'life changes'. It definitely does. So long as we're always pushing forwards, that's all that matters! Thanks for getting in touch.
Lovely update guys. Love your life journey that you are having together. Uplifting. All the very best for your future endeavours. Hopefully see you at an event later in the year.
Hi Guys. Very inspirational video. So glad you came out the other side of covid with a positive attitude 🙌 its great that your business has taken off. Hope you go from strength to strength 💪 Cheers Paul and Sarah
Thanks Paul & Sarah! Nothing ventured, nothing gained! We don't want to be rich, but if our little business can keep us going, then that's all we need! Thanks for your lovely, kind words. 😊
Hey I'm thinking of doing this too, love being outdoors and genuinely would prefer to live in a carvan than a flat. Can I ask is the site your staying at allowing long term? Thanks
@@Misskiff ok great, thank you. I wouldn't mind moving around every 6 months or so but I don't know how the sites feel about people staying on them for several months. Anyway I hope it works out for you ☺️
@@Rolo3939 I think it’s different per campsite. Like my campsite is rented from a private landlords and you also have to think of the land and how it will hold up in winter. I am hoping I make a great first impression for this season and enjoy it so I can come back every season to work the summer. Love the laid back life style.
@@Misskiff same here the peace and quiet away from the hustle. I keep thinking to buy a place but a mortgage is such a weight to carry I think I'm better suited to carvan life and the freedoms it brings with it

Can't believe this, just put youtube on and you're on, we talked to you at the Anglesey show on Saturday and bought some of your books, good luck with selling them
Wishing you both all the very best for the future and I’ll come and splash some cash at NEC 😁 As a Dad I’ve had the kids come back and stay, I love it. My Son will be back in October for a short while when his Performing contract concludes, can’t wait. 😁
Great Vlog again. Paused on your bucket list. Particularly like the one where you will what a sunset every week 🙂. Hopefully we will bump into each other somewhere in the UK during our travels.

Hello Anthony, Price was the main factor - caravans are far more affordable than campers. As it turns out, the caravan was a better pick for us. We do still have a great fondness for campers, and if we were planning a summer-long trip into Europe, then a small camper would be the perfect choice.
