- For four days over Mayday Weekend, Teahupoo did some amazingly beautiful and occasionally horrifying things. Here’s the entire Surfline Swell Story, documented from all angles and with behind-the-scenes interviews from those who were lucky enough to experience this very special run of surf. Surfers include: Matahi Drollet, Lorenzo Avvenenti, JB Prunier, Matehau Tetopata, Mihimana Braye, Enrique Ariitu, Felix Bourgoin , Gilbert Teave, Raimana Van Bastolaer, Balaram Stack, Andrew Jacobson and Cam Richards.

The Tahitian people are so nice. Could you imagine eating food with no poisons added? Fresh seafood, chickens, wild boar and the best fruits and vegetables on earth with no watering needed. I love the Tahitian Islands and people. Manuia!
Fascinating how a Wave so big can have such a smooth glassy face.
It’s really deceiving when they call that an 8 to 10 foot wave! Being the “heaviest” wave in the world they should just say huge, big or small! Cause even if this wave was 6ft it would still rake u across that reef whether ur a pro, a local or……. That’s it! Beginners can’t even ride in the boats! Lol
This swell made south side epic for Oahu
I was at Teahupoo on Saturday and it was so incredible! Balaram Stack absolutely was the MVP of the session. So many bombs back to back and everyone was threaded so effortlessly and with so much style. What a Legend.
Inspired by Raimana. So glad to see him back out there charging. That wave was mental.
