- In this video, I will be showing you how to install the Hansshow Model 3/Y Rear Entertainment and Climate Control Touch Screen Display and the basic set up for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. I will follow up with a second video going over all the features of this Hansshow 7 inch rear entertainment screen.

Hi when you connecting Bluetooth to the front screen is there only one to pair that u can use the bt or any other to pair
How do we get fahrenheit
Only ten minutes IF you dont already have something else pigtailed to the OBD connector. However, i tucked the two pigtails, one going down and the other coming back up. This allows you to reinstall the trim piece.
I have a couple things plugged in too. Will be adding another soon. Testing out the new option to eliminate the Tesla Nag while on autopilot or FSD. Thanks for watching

Do you find the screen is always saying it has an available update but when you do it, it restarts and installs fine but no changes were made and there is another ‘update’ constantly ?
Also, the seat adjust doesn’t work even though I’ve plugged it to the passenger seat, I have a 2020 model 3P.. anyone help? TIA

Hi, do we have access to streaming apps on this screen? Or is it possible to cast videos from phone/iPad? Thanks
streaming apps, yes. You can also use a usb-a drive to play music and videos. For streaming you will need to connect it to your phones or hotspot for internet.
I have a question. Did you have any problems with rattling noise or anything after installing it?
not yet. If you hear a rattle it's most likely the cabling. I would check that. thanks for watching.

Mine has a 1s delay between the video and the audio. There's a reason none of the reviews show a UA-cam video with someone speaking.
Can you pair Bluetooth headsets to this unit? How about Netflix? Any luck installing it?
I couldn't get netflix to work. I don't have a set of bluetooth headsets but I don't think this one supports it. sorry

if its unresponsive, you can always disconnect the cable. it will reboot and should be good.

@@BCTeslaGuy Welp, just recieved my screen and the wiring harness plug was too small and didnt fit. I guess I have the newer version of the 2019. Darn it... Wish I could had a way to check prior to ordering it.
Hi,
I'm having issues with mine staying connected. The rear display is stuck on "waiting " and I'm unable to get back to the home screen. Should both my phone and the display be able to stay connected at the same time?
The display works I know that because I've messed around wirh it. But the last few times I've entered my vehicle it has been stuck on "waiting ". The car Bluetooth isn't discovering it while it's in that state. Thanks in advance
you can try unplugging it and plugging it back in. This will power cycle the screen.
Can you play video content on that screen while the car is driving?
yes, if you have data. You would need to connect to a hotspot or phone.
What do you mean if you have data, do you mean on your phone. And cast video to the device.
Can the rear seat screen be used while driving?

Hello how do you change the word Model to the time display?
not sure I understand. word Model?
Where the time of day is displayed, my unit shows the word Model. I've reached out to the company but still waiting for a response.
have you connected it the internet to get auto-time update?
I agree instead of just "Model" It should be configurable to allow "Model Y" or "Model 3" based on what car you install in.

not sure as I just installed it yesterday. No updates available from Tesla right now. I will let you know once I get a chance to install one. Q: Does the update fail? or does not show up at all. Can you provide a link so I can read up on this issue. Thanks for watching

When you connect Bluetooth to the back does that mean you’re connected to both the front and rear screen?
no, you are connect the audio only.
Would this void any Tesla warranty?
That would be a good question for Tesla. It doesn't modify your car's software. But like other manufacturers, anything you connect to your car can be deemed to void the warranty. I connected a GPS unit to my new 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the past to my battery to power it. When I took it to get serviced, I was told I could void my warranty if I left this connected. All it was doing was powering the GPS unit. If you're concerned with warranty, I would not connect anything to your Tesla until it's out of warranty, and only use Tesla approved parts including LED lights, filters, 12v battery. Sorry, I'm sure you wanted a clear answer. thanks for watching

technically anything you do to your car can void the warranty.

@@joydipbasu5093 like I said, any mod that changes your car (not just tesla) can void warranty. Swapping out the interior LED's for brighter one can void warranty. I installed a gps tracker on my 2008 Grand Cherokee and when I took it in for service, I voided my warranty by hardwiring the unit to my battery. I fought them on this and they decided to drop it. My recommendation is never change/add or alter your car regardless of the brand if you're not willing to risk your warranty or at least wait till it expires.
Hell when you take it in for service just change it back to the old one All to do is take 5-10 minutes
They told me I have to connect from the A Pillar?
When I do that it disables the key and the app.
It may have changed since I installed it. What year is your car?

Be careful. Hanshow customer service won't want to help you after a sale.
Not as great as video makes it seem. 1-2 second audio lag when using Bluetooth to Tesla makes video watching unusable. Many other functions are mediocre at best.
They’ve come out with newer model that fixed the audio delay. Also the latest one can pair with a headset and comes with it’s own speaker.
I think just being able to control AC and heated seats is great!

no built in speaker. You need to connect it to your car with bluetooth. Sound will play over your car speakers. Thanks for watching
Sound will play with a delay over the bluetooth connection on the car. At least with my brand new unit I installed after watching this view. Buyer be warned!
