Yep, I'm finally back! First of all, I'd like to apologize, I know that releasing a single song in four months doesn't quite cut it, but I've been extremely busy since my last song back in September and barely managed to keep up with this amazing fandom and compose a few bars of music here and there. Not to mention that this is by far my most complex arrangement yet! Too complex, actually, I've decided that from now on, I'll be composing in 8-bit sounds only. (or maybe not ^^ )
Oh, and about the song itself. As most of you probably recognize, It's inspired by the lovely piece of background music from 2nd season's Family Appreciation Day episode (you can listen to it here: • MLP:FiM BGM: Granny Sm... . As usual, I borrowed some key parts and then just let my imagination go. As opposed to my first song, Winter Wrap Up, I've decided to use much more realistic sounding guitars, which may sound a bit clunky at times, but I think it's a step in the right direction.
So, that's it for now, I hope you enjoy it at least as much as I enjoyed making it. And thank you all in advance for feedback of any sort, it's greatly appreciated!

When I listen to this song, I don't really see it for Ponyville. I see it for all of Equestria. All the friendship, love, and peace of the land is embodied in this song. The gentle, wise guidance given by Princess Celestia, the protection of dreams by her sister Luna, and the hard work of all the ponies and other creatures that live in Equestria is here in this exquisite composition.
One of the most underrated episodes of the entire show, one of the most underrated scenes of the entire show, one of the most beautiful but underrated pieces of music the show ever produced and now brought up to the film quality it deserves - It almost sounds like a piece from The land before time and is worthy of being called a masterpiece.
This song will always live in my heart. You may have long passed, but your legacy will live on in the hearts of people your music has touched
Of all your pieces, this is my favorite. RIP MelodicPony.

My mum recently asked me to convert some old childhood home video footage from the 60s to a watchable digital format. When I did so, I just had to edit this over the top, since there was no sound anyway. This just perfectly captures the feel of old happy memories so it felt appropriate. RIP
Now this piece has practically brought tears to my eyes...
I hope you found your Equestria, man. And your eternal happiness. Rest peacefully, you've earned it.
I can't believe you are gone... this is one of my favourite orchestral pieces in the world.... I cried at the beauty of this music, and now I will cry at the sadness of your loss :(
It's quit remarkable in the short time he was composing for the fandom you can follow the progression of his skill base starting with his humble "Winter Wrap-up" to this sweet and upbeat Orchestral Instrumental. Oh had he lived longer, an Equestrian virtuoso, rest in peace sweet prince.
Do not forget something many will never do in life, he also left a small legacy of masterpieces..

This is one of, if not the best piece of music I've heard in years. No, seriously. Absolutely stunning work. I'm looking forward to what you produce in the future. Personally I'm hoping for one based on the Season 4 premier.

I tried to do my Animation homework while listening to this, what turned out to be a bad idea.
That song literaly drove me to tears of joy, but i didn't come to any progress with my homework :)

Its all dubstep and rap while I'm listening to Moonlight Sonata and Ride of the Valkyries
I don't quite appreciate those genre as much as orchestra, but I have to pretend I do so I don't isolate myself.
I've had an experience that sadly proves my point. On the last day of school, our teacher let us go on youtube and listen to clean music. Everyone was fine until it was my turn, and I'm the only one who played orchestra music (Ride of the Valkyries). Everyone told me to turn it off because "it sux so bad" My teacher said she liked it, but told me to turn it off so everyone could be happy. I buried my head in my hands because they can't stand it for even a minute.
BlitzTaifun I know how you feel! It seems like there's no one who appreciates classical or orchestral music. No one in my school anyway. I am in orchestra class, and I got into my symphony through auditions :D! My orchestra director and teacher appreciates the music. Hopefully more people can appreciate the emotion of music. I DO like some more modern music, but not without good orchestral stuff with it. I really like listening to Tchaikovsky!
P.S. I would've listened Ride of the Valkyries with you!

That's funny how coincidentally awesome this is. I just rewatched the entire MLP:FiM series after a couple month's break. Besides the show filling me with great emotions again, I noticed some background tunes that caught my ear. It happens to be the ones that you orchestrated too! This, and Love Conquers All. I thank you very much that you've done these, as they are wonderfully well-done!

Wow, this is absolutely beautiful. The sounds are all wonderfully put together. There is definitely something about this track. It manages to make me so sad, and yet so happy at the same time. No matter how many times I listen to this (and it has been many), my heart just melts. In a good way, of course.

Someone pointed out that this was the song that opened Gala evening of last Galacon. I curiously gave it a listen and they were right. I felt like I sank back to the evening even though it's been a year. So thank you for the song and for the special memory it created and still can bring back.
