You know, I found this show in my 20s. So did most of my friends, the ones who first showed it to me. I watched most of MLP through a friend's server connection. In fact, it was the first cartoon I had binged since IDK when. Something about the characters' personalities, the charm, the comedy stuck with me, even in my darkest places. My stepfather abused me physically and emotionally. My mother was manipulative, even more so after the divorce. My friends saw that in me when they came to visit; I had them over for food and such. They saw my hair falling out, the white in my eyelashes and my skin pigment. Unbelievable weight gain. They showed me the first two episodes. I binge watched all four seasons sometime after I left my stepfather. I fell in love with the beautiful artwork being made, deeply sorrowing for my long-lost creative spark. I had dreams in my darkest hours that nearly drove me mad. Dreams of pure, chaste, unabashed love. Dreams that I thought had long since passed... I find myself now, almost ten years later, having had breakthrough psychological evaluations, helping me understand who I actually am, and what exactly turned me into the monster I had become. Facing down decades of demons, and finally breaking a 15 year psychological addiction. Then, at the end of it all, I heard something one early morning last week as I stood on the dock door at work. I stared up at the stars, the full moon... *Come home... I miss you* It was a very gentle, female voice on the last day's summer breeze. Quiet, shy... That's when I realized the love, the companionship, the spark... Everything I needed, came from within. I drowned in that love as it flowed through my veins, realizing I had never been alone. She was still watching over me, a manifestation of the motherly, sweet care and the romantic love I've never truly had on this Earth. I started to cry, letting that love pour down my face. Now, here I am almost a decade since I first saw those episodes. The monsters are slain, I am in the arms of God now. And at last... I'm home. Home with kindness, love, and generosity. Home with loyal friends, laughter, honesty. A tired old man, whose creative flame has at long last been rekindled. I walked to the cottage door, and knocked. She stood and smiled at me with those beautiful eyes from behind pink rose-colored locks, and her cheeks turned red. I put my arms around her: Stronger than they'd ever been, with a heart and soul to match, forged from broken pieces of pain held together now by joy. She wrapped her wings over us both, her arms draped over my neck, and we leaned our foreheads on one another, with only two words... *Welcome home.*
What a horrible life you had back in those days, its true that this cartoon had help us many people to forget the darkest of the moments of our lives, inside house, at work, at school or even in a personal way. Its very good that you wanted to share to the community about your feelings and what does the show has done for you, help you of course, you got friends that stood up to you and finally came to some peace, mental peace, as you say, God helped you. KEEP IT STRONG FRIEND, I SEND MY REGARDS TO YOU AND I WISH YOU A HAPPY, CALM AND PEACEFULL LIFE. I SEND YOU RIGHT WHERE IM TYPING THIS, A NICE FRIENDLY HUG. MUCH LOVE FRIEND.
We are depressed because with all the amazing comments of the day ending and the sun setting you relize everyday that passes by you never get back, but thats in the past the present is now! Let the crickets lullaby you to the future to regain a new day to your collection. So when you look at that sun set remember this, my day was future it became present and now its past.
I have to admit when uploading that I had some doubts about a piece of music so repetitious, but so far I've received a lovely response from you guys, so thank you very much :)
This reminds me of a quote I keep close to my heart. "The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present" This is really beautiful!
This is what I listen to when I play minecraft. and just about anything else. Very, Very relaxing. but it also makes me feel a little sad at times. It's bringing tears to my eyes already and I'm only a two minutes in.
I don't know what it is about this song. it is not meditation music, but it nourishes the soul and brings peace. its not "sleepytime" music, but it makes me feel comfortable; puts me in a mindframe where it is okay to unclench, as it were, and be still enough inside to rest. I think this song just wants to be, just as it is, with no pretense, and I think its unique effects stem partially from it making us feel able to exist in the same way. I think this makes it the most profound folk music ever written.
Discovered this one in 2014... Man, the memories... It also inspired me to write my first fanfiction! Anyway, everytime i listen to this it reminds me of those times, when i was still in my last year of school, thinking about my future and i couldn't wait for what could've been next on this amazing show that hooked me by surprise. Those were only the start of a long series of happy times. 2014, the year i became a Brony... I'll never forget it ❤ :')
Really a relevant song right now, since the final BronyCon ends today. This is it - the last big hurrah. This song marks the sunset of the fandom, a time where we can reflect on what MLP brought everyone - and how it brought them together. While the big and exciting times are closing, the show and it's fans have left an impact that will be remembered. Here's to an awesome subculture that spanned a good few years. Here's to a promising future, wherever we may go. Here's to all of us. Go out there and become something - make history that's worth remembering!
I must admit I feel a little bit scared when I hear this song. It is extremely peaceful, but it makes me think of death. A peaceful death in a summer twilight. Reflecting of your life while giving the sun a last look before clossing your eyes. Letting the sound of the world coming to you, surround you, take you away. Maybe I just think about it too hard.
Maybe you are, but considering all the bad poetry I see bronies trying to get away with, at least what you wrote didn't make me want to hurt myself. Very well said.
Death isn't something to fear, but the fear of loss is and death makes life seem worthless. This planet will end at some time and it does not matter what oneself does has it doesn't really matter in the end. That's why people 'fear' death. It is the thought of not being remembered or losing a good friend.
Well, speaking from experience, I would be more scared of living forever. Not being able to die seems like a horror story. Death for me is nice. I mean, I know where I'm going afterwards. So I don't have anything to fear.
They don't really tell you how everything changes Slowly but subtly, piece by piece, until the life you once knew is replaced completely The corner store will close down, replaced by some new modern looking establishment They will revamp your old high-school into an unrecognizable institution, now foreign to you The neighbors you grew up knowing will move away, maybe you will too The elders in your life will pass on Those you once spoke with every day will drift away from you, sometimes abruptly, sometimes slowly, Unceremoniously The TV channels you watched like clockwork will mangle into subversive meshes that no longer resemble entertainment, or will simply vanish entirely The routines that youth once forced you to keep now eroded by time The rotting remnants of theme parks now collapsed as well much like the now bankrupt giants that used to own the world, blockbuster, k-mart, drowned in the sea of ever destitute consumption now famished, they wither too The games you once played the shows and movies you watched the hobbies you once did by the wayside now, as the new growth in your life has blossomed over to encompass your time but the music doesn't change and it brings me peace to know that at the very least I will have these small things Because without them, I'm afraid I'd have no proof any of it ever happened at all.
*Never be afraid to show who you are and never hide what you love.* I love My Little Pony Gen 4 and all the characters in it. I feel like they're my friends while watching the series, I even have desires to live in that world because of all the trouble in this reality. This My Little Pony Generation that I grew up watching may be finished but will always be in my mind and soul. 😔 Every thing will come to an end but everything else will live on.
hard to express this song in words. in all my life I have never felt the peace and serenity that this song brings to me. I've been a brony for about a year now and my faith in this fandom grows stronger and stronger with each passing month day and hour. like one of you have said before, liquid Pride seeps from me every time I hear this song. thank you so much for this wonderful soundscape
No words can describe instrumental. Tears and feelings. Tears of joy, and the feeling of change. This is the kind of song that makes you reconsider the meaning of life itself.
Reminds me of childhood memories. Visiting Zion and the Grand canyon. Things I've never seen. Things that will be in my memories through my entire life. I love finding songs like this to dig up those old memories. So nostalgic...
this music is so freaking epic. I'm so greatful that you let me listen to it for free, it really helps me out on streesfull days, and I love how it makes me feel
people who hate this songs they don't know what there talking about this song is so beautiful and it can even make you cry and I love it and I'm new to this channel
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Thank you. (You know you've done well when your likes outnumber your dislikes over a hundred to one.)
I can definitely see the Adam Young influence in this song. Vanilla Twilight and Lonely Lullaby, to me, are the two that seem to carry a similar style to this piece. And as a Hoot Owl, you have become one of my favorite composers!
I have to say Applejack gets some of the chillest songs like this one and Lazy Applejack from simgretina. I love all of you guys' works of art. Keep it up! :D
For some unknown reason, this song just makes me feel incredible nostalgia. Brought me to tears. Well done, PonyEveningStar. Your music is so beautiful.
I was just chilling to your music while playing some Eve, but when this came on and the rain started I had to take a break and just admire the song. Just amazing
Aww yeah, Evening Star! More of your sweet, sweet work! Your sound is just lovely. The peaceful tone this tune has gives off a feeling reinforced by the picture used as its cover--that of an evening of a summer day, one that may have been full of work or trouble but now recedes into a beautiful night. A time to rest and relax in contentment and at peace with the world. Thank you for giving this lovely piece to us, maker!
Thank You Sir,i have happily served the US Army and this music along with most your other acoustic music really sets my mind at ease, thank you and I hope you continue your great work
so true :P and just to be clear i'm no artist in any sense, i lack the talent, the creativity, simply on the outside looking in, and this fandom has allowed me to do so, and for that i'm quite grateful to the artist, the writers, and musicans alike, they have my gratitude most definitely
This song is just beautiful... it makes my heart tense up. It's so special to me, and your music helped me through some rough times. Thank you for making this amazing song.
I can honestly say, i wake up to this every day and when night comes around, i fall asleep to these wonderful sounds, it brings me joy to know, that regardless of pain Their will always be those who Manage to keep me sane -Love a loving fan
Beautiful. The repetition is very nice, especially closer to the end where you have more layers over it. I think this is a quite relaxing piece. Great work. Keep it up!
This is simply one of your best compositions so far...so simple yet deep and intense at the same time. For me, it tells a new story everytime I listen to it. I'm simply in love with this piece of music ♡
you know you and your, Amazing, music help me change my life with my stress and depression. So I just wanted to say, Thank You So Much! Keep It Up! It also helps me with my homework lol XD
i really like this song. it may seem odd but when im really down i will listen to this song and let it out. seems sappy i know, but im one to never show it. and when i listen to this song i begin to relax. and because of this song i can sleep a full night. and im happy again. music has done so much. this is what we need. id love to hear another soft tone song like this.
and those of you who feel alone or like nothing in the world matters please feel free to message me. I felt the same way for many years then I found this wonderful world. love to all
Tears lurk in my eyes right now. I feel inspired to write...something...anything. That doesn't usually happen. Now I'm gonna stop typing and start this over so I can hear it without the clicking keys.
I have been going through your channel listening to all your music, but when I got to this one, I stopped, closed my eyes, and listened to every note. This is truly a masterpiece. It is as if you too the essence of peace and serenity and converted it into music. This truly touched me.
This has probably become my favorite Applejack inspired songs so far. TheDashDub's AppleJack's Daydream was my favorite for a while because I love his mellow music. I was getting really tired of everything related to applejack being fast paced bluegrass/country style music. Thank you for making a such an awesome song that's inspired from a farm pony who inspires me all the time!
Found this years ago back when I cared more about the show / fanbase and sought out pony-related music. This one has stuck with me though, as it's more universal in nature and effective for relaxation.
I was about to say the same thing..but around the 1st minute i beagn to hear how the other instruments got along..it's just so calmed that you have yo very very very calmed to noticed the difference..but this is great!

Not ashamed as a male teen to say I shed a few drops of liquid pride to this because of my past. Great work :-; :-)
lol "liquid pride"
I like your comment this 2020 year sucks...

Golden Guppy that coment made me cry 😊
The sun set like 5 hours ago, and I still haven't slept. High school sucks.

I'm actually playing minecraft right now. (well, a modpack but same idea)
the music in minecraft alone is peaceful but also sad.
Love your pfp Breath of the wild best game ever!

Wow I didn't even knew it ended...
I'm not scared to admit something that I'm a brony and I'm proud of it don't be scared to admit
I must admit I feel a little bit scared when I hear this song. It is extremely peaceful, but it makes me think of death.

This is my final day of summer vacation.
Ending it with this beautiful song
+Pinkamena Hai
Marc Man!!! hey
Im back again after a year ending it with the same thing
Kaze Ni Naru is my End-Summer song.
Same
It's still one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard
So soothing. Still one of my favorite pieces, both as a fan based item and just a relaxing fluid melody by a creative artist.
They don't really tell you how everything changes
Slowly but subtly, piece by piece, until the life you once knew is replaced completely
The corner store will close down, replaced by some new modern looking establishment
They will revamp your old high-school into an unrecognizable institution, now foreign to you
The neighbors you grew up knowing will move away, maybe you will too
The elders in your life will pass on
Those you once spoke with every day will drift away from you, sometimes abruptly, sometimes slowly, Unceremoniously
The TV channels you watched like clockwork will mangle into subversive meshes that no longer resemble entertainment, or will simply vanish entirely
The routines that youth once forced you to keep now eroded by time
The rotting remnants of theme parks now collapsed as well
much like the now bankrupt giants that used to own the world, blockbuster, k-mart, drowned in the sea of ever destitute consumption
now famished, they wither too
The games you once played
the shows and movies you watched
the hobbies you once did
by the wayside now, as the new growth in your life has blossomed over to encompass your time
but the music doesn't change
and it brings me peace to know that at the very least
I will have these small things
Because without them, I'm afraid I'd have no proof any of it ever happened at all.
*Never be afraid to show who you are and never hide what you love.* I love My Little Pony Gen 4 and all the characters in it. this song is absolutely perfect to play for children during rest time. It's so soothing and calming which makes it great for those hyper little ones.
I love playing this as ambiance, though it makes me kinda depressed.
Thank you for making this!

I find myself constantly coming back to this song when i want to relax. Just goes to show how amazing it is.
One of maybe 3 pieces of music I've ever heard that immediately puts me in a nigh-zen state no matter what's going on.
Thank you.
No words can describe instrumental. Tears and feelings. Tears of joy, and the feeling of change. This is the kind of song that makes you reconsider the meaning of life itself.
Absolutely no dislikes. And darn right too. Beautiful.
I read Background Pony to this. I have never cried so much to a story, and this makes it all the more emotional.
this song is so good its bring me to tears keep up the work
Reminds me of childhood memories. Visiting Zion and the Grand canyon. Things I've never seen. Things that will be in my memories through my entire life. I love finding songs like this to dig up those old memories. So nostalgic...
this music is so freaking epic. I'm so greatful that you let me listen to it for free, it really helps me out on streesfull days, and I love how it makes me feel
this puts me right to sleep at almost anytime of the day and reminds me of the long summer days me and my friends rode our bikes through the woods
This song is incredibly good. And when the rain started around 4:45, that was just perfect.

This is the one song I would love to hear in an hour version.
This is definitely one of my favorite Evening Star songs. It reminds me of summer and all the nostalgia within it.

I've been having headaches for the past couple of weeks and I don't know why, this helps melt them away. Amazing job man!
music often or sometimes exceeds the word art when captured so beautifully done like this piece, simple but moving in a quiet, dignified way
This song has helped me relax when I felt everything was falling apart.
It's...So...Beautiful. And Relaxing...
Best Music I ´ve ever heard to sleep. If I hear this I can imagine sitting under a tree with the sun going down step by step.
Fantastic Music!
Keep it up! :D
I really love this song. Its so calming and really beautiful.
For some unknown reason, this song just makes me feel incredible nostalgia. Brought me to tears. Well done, PonyEveningStar. Your music is so beautiful.
My personal favorite of your works.
I was just chilling to your music while playing some Eve, but when this came on and the rain started I had to take a break and just admire the song. Just amazing
As I sit here reading with a warm puppy sleeping in my lap. I reach ever so close to nirvana.

I have been going through your channel listening to all your music, but when I got to this one, I stopped, closed my eyes, and listened to every note. This is truly a masterpiece. It is as if you too the essence of peace and serenity and converted it into music. This truly touched me.
i love how calming this song is.
I'd just like to say, your music is just beautiful
This has probably become my favorite Applejack inspired songs so far. TheDashDub's AppleJack's Daydream was my favorite for a while because I love his mellow music. I was getting really tired of everything related to applejack being fast paced bluegrass/country style music. Thank you for making a such an awesome song that's inspired from a farm pony who inspires me all the time!
AJ you are awesome
This song is so calming.
Found this years ago back when I cared more about the show / fanbase and sought out pony-related music.
This one has stuck with me though, as it's more universal in nature and effective for relaxation.
Funny how "One Summer's Day" is a good song for winter depression...
BlitzTaifun I go to A Dying World for that.
Ah yes, that one too.
Love AJ love this music it works so well with her in the pic.
this popped up in my suggestions, thought I'd give it a listen... and I don't regret a single thing about that decision :)
I feel at true peace when I listen to this song
