I have never seen such disregard for ones own fingers. Mega dangerous on the saw as well as fingers way to close to the chisel edges. Great little puzzle though.
Kids NEVER copy the way the actor uses the table saw. Use a push stick and never ever slide your finger between the rack and the blade. PSA This has been a public service announcement.
Made one of these today using your video. It turned out great and works perfectly. Thank you for taking the time to document your process and for being thorough. Cheers and happy puzzling/woodworking!
+Derek Griggs thank you for your feedback. I. Constantly trying to fine tune the audio to music ratio. Also, this project was REALLY complex and probably could have been explained better. Always a work in progress.
Nice work, I'm definitely gonna try this. Shame about the awful music though. The volume was too high to hear you properly, but it would have been better with no music at all
Like someone said, it is a complex project and it demand a lot of precision. Maybe you could show the measurements by text on screen... and slow down a little bit while you explain things that are tricky...and show different angles of the on going project. Anyway, you make a very nice job! I am in the realisation process of this project ...and having fun!
+Kevin ONeil you need to bring three different types of hole. 4 holes are for the lock pins and they are drilled into the ends. 4 lock weight holes and they are drill to the depth of the pin holes. And then 2 pin holes that go all the through. Hope that helps.

Aggressive / passive … new twist on an old classic 🤣
Good puzzle, but if you like your fingers, use a push stick in the table saw.
Lose the music, it's too hard to hear what you are saying. You also should use a push stick, you never know when something unexpected will happen.
Thank you for the advise.

Next thing you should make yourself is a push stick for the table saw. Holy shit. 3/4 of an inch between the blade and your fingers??
Mike Regan That’s what I thought. Made my balls tingle watching that!
I think a push stick puzzle is in order now. Safety first!
30s into this video I was thinking "Oh, there's gonna be blood!"
Mark Gearing I've been well informed about viewers concerns with tables saw use. I'll be sure to be more mindful of my viewers in future builds.
@@UIDIY Don"t worry about your viewers,. You're the one who will bleed. Get a Grripper. BTW I love the puzzle.
Great result BUT... how have you managed to keep your fingers, tablesaw and router usage gave me the creeps, so dangerous!
You need to be cognizant of the risks to your hands and fingers!
hope he still has all his fingers, wow what a dangerous way to cut wood, wow. no safety

Glad you actually made one. Such a great puzzle.
You need to turn the music off when your talking!! But it was pretty good video need a little more explanation Thanks

Music?
Nice work, I'm definitely gonna try this. Shame about the awful music though. The volume was too high to hear you properly, but it would have been better with no music at all
Yea, sorry about that. Earlier days stuff maybe I should de a reupload. You're not the only person to comment.

+Simon Cote I will try and make some plans for this project. I'm sorry it's so confusing. I did my best at the time. Work in progress.
I dig how you know how to place your fingers just so … a lot of people can’t do that
😅 sure does grab a lot of attention that's for sure.
I find the music most intrusive
Noted. Will do better next time.
Damn make yourself some push sticks
bandit va I agree. If not already he may get bit by that table saw blade.
You deserve a lot more recognition for this 👏
+Cami Benítez thank you.
awesome work! thanks for the video :-)
How long is the total length of the locking pieces when done?
Great project, great video. Ditch the music!
Thanks for the positive feedback. Did you not like the music? Was it too loud? Or maybe both?
@@UIDIY Too loud, too distracting and too unnecessary.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
I like the measurements
I like the music! Maybe a touch loud tho. What is it?
Write all my own music.
Dump the music!
Can you revisit this puzzle with your fancy new big boy tools...?
Fantastic 👍🏼
Interesting but without the music it would be a whole heap easier for people like me with hearing problems!
I've heard this many times. Live and learn I guess.
Great project.
Side note: do you hate your fingers? It looks like you want to get rid of them... ;-)
can I buy One from you ??
Parabéns gostei muito, vou intentar fazer.
I HAD TO STOP WATCHING >>>THE MUSI>>>SORRY THE HATEFUL NOISE AAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG !!!!!!!!!
Noted, thank you.

The music is too loud.
