If you wanted a vehicle to get you reliably through the next 20 years look no further ! As usual excellent review. Your channel just gets better and better
At last! A reviewer that understands the purpose of a twin cab and knows who and what they're designed for. Far too many reviewers completely miss the point.
Mark, great review and with a broad smile on your face! Yes, here in Lancashire the farmers love the Hi Lux. And quite right too! Builders, landscape gardeners and the like. The VW Amarok is closing the gap but you pay for it. Thanks again. Stay Safe.
Nice looking truck and good to see the review both on and off the road. Invincible is a good spec and overall looks good on the inside as well as the outside. Is the engine Toyota or Peugeot?
Can you explain the anti collision system. I had a recent experience of the truck braking suddenly when someone pulled over in front of me and I'm sure if there was a vehicle behind me that could cause an accident.
You can usually disable them, have had similar happen to me. The same rules of the road for the person behind you will come into play though - if you’re too close to the vehicle in front etc
Nice review sir I need your opinion I want to sell my ford ranger xlt to get either a Toyota hilux 2.8 manual or a isuzu dmax 3.0 which one do you think would be better ?
If you do get one sell it before 5 years because they rust out like no other. Only a 7 year corrosion warranty too (most trucks have 12) - Toyota aren't stupid.

100%
Bumper bent
I bought mine with the intention of keeping it 20 years. Ill keep it as long as combustion engines have infrastructure
I’m really torn between this and a ranger. The ranger looks better I’d say and has better interior but the reliability of the new models is shocking.
If you get the Toyota steer away from the Auto box.
My Dad bought a 2004 model brand new, we had it for 17 years still going strong.
We sold it this year though
17 years - impressive !

Still got the Toyota 1990s digital clock! I don't need a pickup but another great review to watch. :-)
Thanks Douglas!

Really? They are know for rusting out down here.
Looked like you had fun........some great shots of the action 👍
Thanks 👍
The good is auto gear or manuel?
Perfect for the potholes around the midlands
Ha ha
You keep mentioning the Amarok, but it’s gone!
Excellent video!!! Make D-max, please.
I think you have bent they rear bumper lol looks twisted . Great work bud love the videos
Thanks 👍
What about the power button
I love mine

The engine is made by Toyota obviously
Great looking truck but it really lacks the refinement and features of the Ranger Wildtrak…

Definitely the Hilux! Please just NOT the GWM P6 HAHA
Hilux I think. Why not another Ford though?
@@NobbyOnCars I had 3 ford rangers and they were reliable but I always wanted a hilux though and thank you
@@danielbredenkamp3957 I think the Toyota hilux is more durable and reliable than the isuzu dmax and ford ranger
@@lorenzoroberts6512 Hilux is not a great road vehicle though, noisy cab, bad seats. Switching to a ranger
Most Farmers in Cumbria own one of these
It's the towing weight that farmer's need. Plus Toyota reliability.
@@munro12 Thanks for clarifying
Too bad the pick up trucks are too expensive
They are cheap enough to buy and I'd love one but I hear the tax is 1400 quid a year. Joke like
M!MashaAllah

spend the 200 quid to get dampners for the tailgate... 60000 on a truck and wont go the 200 extra lol
