Good lookin boat, equipped for success. It's always a pleasure watching your vids Christian, you definitely have a calling to be one of the best as you move forward. I hope the new boat gives you a sense of confidence and advantage at the same time to achieve your goals. Keep Them Rods Bent!
I fished Estero bay last weekend and the same result. Super windy had to find some sheltered areas cause the wind kept pushing my skiff around. It’s a learning process for me as I’ve spent most of my life fishing pine island sound and matlacha pass. I don’t have a ton of experience in Estero bay. I live close to ft myers beach so I’ve been trying to fish there more often.
🌴 Hey Chris, that boat is bad azz , staying dry in a big chop makes for a good day of fish’n , no mangrove monsters but it was a productive day , some people say when the water gets colder the fish start to get a bit sluggish others say that’s when the big un’s hit as they are building up fat for the cold months , I’ve had some days that were productive but you had to work for um , snook were setting in skinny water with dark bottoms warming them up , reds were working oyster bars , and trout were in 2’ of water in the edge of pockets , but then I started getting into doing more fly fishing than spinning so now I usually take my 8 wt fly rod , a 3000 series and a 5000 series with that way I cover most of the bases , can’t wait to see this next tournament vid , good luck and tight lines 👍🏼
Big fan of the videos and love the new skiff! Try to limit your use of the phrases "guys" and "that being said". With respect, it detracts from the quality of the overall experience. You seem to be dedicated enough to your storytelling, so hoping that critique helps! Keep 'em coming!
We love your video's so where very happy to help you get out on the water and explore. Enjoy the skiff.
