    This is my review of the new Creality Ender 3 3D printer. It's a $200 pre-assembled kit that arrives with everything you need to get started. The assembly will take 1 hour, but you will be able to start 3d printing right away. My tests showed that the printer was able to print PLA, flexible, nylon and ceramic filament. The printing quality is world class, sometimes it's impossible to actually see the layer lines! The compact size also made it possible to print at a fairly high speed. Overall performance and affordability makes this a printer that I strongly recommend.

    I’ve had this printer for almost 2 years now. I’ve printed tons of prints and I have had literally no failed prints or problems. I was concerned about choosing the right printer because about how many there are. I am super glad with the results and hopefully I can print far into the future.
    P.s. I use Prusa slicer to slice my models. I love finding models off of thingiverse and I use fusion 360 to design my own models. This printer is super easy to use and fun for anyone, ever people who are not into robotics.

    I bought this 3D printer maybe 10 days ago as my first printer and i love it!!! I have been running it everyday and have no issues or complaints! I already ordered a glass bed and yellow upgraded bed springs. I already relocated the spool holder to the side and printed a extruder knob. Probably the best first 3D printer anyone should get because it just performs amazing and it is only $200! just blows my mind how amazing this printer is and is like the new anet revolution for budget beginner 3D printers but with far superior print quality then any $200-$300 printer out there. Thanks for your review on this printer :)

    It's my first 3D printer, so I have no reference to any others, but the print quality is absolutely amazing! The frame is sturdy, the instructions and controls are easy to navigate and it takes literally any filament! *And all for less than $230!!!* My only problems were a loose bed and a crushed bowden tube clamp, but there were tools to tighten the bed rollers and a spare clamp was provided. @@jpuck6221 its a pretty darn solid machine! Its great for the price, but a nightmare to set up. at the time, I was really inexperienced, and when I tried to do a print all of it was sliding on the plate. turns out I had to adjust it. it took me two weeks to figure that out. thank god it came with a little spool of filament since I was able to calibrate it before my filament arrived. but once I got everything set up, the machine is great! I would recommend if you have the time to set something like this up, but you just want something working out of the box get a monoprice

    I'm stuck between this and the Pro... The Pro has a magnetic plate so you can't heat it up too much, but it's more rigid, less noisy, and apparently more user friendly (so good for beginners).

    • @theblackhundreds7124
      @theblackhundreds7124 5 років тому

      Risky proposition. A heated bed is very important not only for the first layer but for all the other layers that come after. Any warping will cause obvious issues with your model.

    Great video buddy! I enjoyed hearing your opinions and thoughts. I've followed your channel for a long time. I remember when you were building planes, using Experimental Airlines build methods. I am actually still using his methods and I'm still loving every flight. I'm finding myself in situations when I would like to have a 3D printer and the Ender 3 has been recommended to me. Now, this particular video of yours is 2 years old. In your opinion, is the Ender 3 still a great 3D printer for beginners? I've never used one. This will be all new to me and I value your thoughts! Take care!

    I'm new to 3D printing so I'm new to the process. Do you just upload the file download to the 3D printer through the SD card and then it prints from there, or do you connect a computer and need a software to run the print? If there is a software needed, what is it? Thanks in advance!

    • @n8taing612
      @n8taing612 4 роки тому +9

      Late reply, but when you download a model file (STL or OBJ), you have to import it into a slicer software. In the slicer, you edit the temperature, print speed, infill, thickness of the walls, etc. I highly recommend Cura slicer which works really well with my ender 3. Once you sliced the model and save the gcode onto a micro SD, you put the micro SD into the printer and print the gcode
