The gun is definitely old reliable in my book, but 5 rounds may never be enough so bet it's never alone near the bed
I changed my pistol grip on my judge because the grip was a little small I have a large hand. My pinky finger was just there, so I ordered pacmyr grips and my hand grips it nicely plus the rubber grip absorbs most of the recoil. I love my judge.

The problem is ammo selection. That big coverage you want there is a BIG problem. Those little pellets don't penetrate hardly at all. The holy grail for this gun is Federal HANDGUN buckshot. Four .36 caliber pellets that pack a punch. 16 inches in gel. The spread isn't much but you get the advantage of splintering projectiles inside the body. The do NOT assume the same path, that means 4x more chances to strike a vital organ. Never had a light strike out of 1500+ shells. It's a small firing squad of pistols every trigger pull.
Ummm.........I would be sending that Judge upriver. I don't have one, but almost purchased the Smith version called the Governor one time years ago. Glad I didn't. Keep 'em coming sir.
