25th Anniversary for Dr. Thomas Scalea at Shock Trauma

At the 2022 Shock Trauma Center Celebration held on Sept. 10, we honored Dr. Scalea for his extraordinary 25 years as Physician-in-Chief of the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

Congratulations Dr Scalia! It was an honor and privilege to have you as mentor and role model when I was a pre-med student in Baltimore at UMBC. I thoroughly enjoyed my nights at the TRU & OR at STC at a volunteer. As an Emergency Physician now, I know my experience at STC helped shape my passion for what I do. Thank you again & congratulations on this milestone. Hope our paths cross again.
