Dr. Gens saved my son's life in 2011 after a severe MVA and to say that I am beyond ETERNALLY GRATEFUL is a GROSS understatement. Without his expertise, knowledge, professionalism, kindness, patience and calm under pressure, my son would not be here today. Much gratitude, love and appreciation from this mom right here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Gens, you are FOREVER my hero!!!!

Hi! Dr. Gens
This is Sandy Lee, a patient of yours from over 40 years ago. I hope you remember me, the firefighter who fell from the truck. My entire life that has followed is because of the medical skill, care and concern you gave me. You are THE DOCTOR in my journey, you are the doctor I could never argue with. When I asked you, “why did you even try?”, you answered “ Because you just never know.” That, sir, is why you are the greatest doctor I have known in my life and I truly THANK YOU for the life I have lived.

What a legend... FYI this was one of the first docs to receive President Reagan in the ER after he was shot....in 1981, before they had all the awesome medical tech today.
