this might be too late, but i had this exact same problem and i fixed it by changing the fuse 41 from your glovebox, but only if the car is from 09.2005 and up if is before this it might be a different one
If you have this problem , try unplugging negative terminal of the battery for about 1 hour then plug it back , worked for me , and after plugging back i got the awd and dtc malfunction error , all you have to do is to start the car and roll the steering wheel all the way to the left then all the way to the right , and done
My 525i odometer partially shows numbers like the bottom half but not the rest any ideas? The clock also just shows some random lines but nothing with meaning
When you pay a premium price, you should not see the internet jammed with people having all kinds of electrical glitch problems related to that car. I'm up in midcoast Maine with 87 year old parents and a dead digital instrument cluster. Sheesh! 2019 BMW X3
I believe I have the same issue, the MPG weren’t showing, the temp was way off, and the car wouldn’t go into sleep mode after being turned off it would drain the battery. I disconnected the instrument cluster and it wouldn’t drain my battery so I’m guessing I just have a bad instrument cluster. Idk if you can help
I would speak to a cluster specialist. Im guessing the car is not in warranty. If u explain the issue they can test the cluster and identify the issue. It could be a software issue in general and not the cluster, but it's hard to say. Best thing would be to get an expert to have a look
Dawg Will Fix IT I took it to the bmw stealership and according to them it was the cluster unfortunately the warranty I have didn’t cover the instrument cluster. I feel like taking it to another shop because I feel like they just want the milk to warranty it was going to be like almost 3,000 for the instrument cluster and programming.
All Grayed out because your cluster is the one that's controlling it all..Everything gets through the Cluster. Since you are in E4 as your satnav shows ..try the Cluster repairs in Waltham Abbey Brooker road they will check and fix the cluster then all will be fine
@@DawgWillFixIT This is absolute bullshit. You dont need to program shit if you buy the same one and if you buy an Alt PN, then you can code with Beemer Apps on Android, its so simple! DOnt post fake bs answers. Your video alone was a waste of time.

I have the same exact issue with my 05 e60 530d, did the fuse change sort your problem or did you have to repair it?
Did u manage to sort this mate? My 06 E60 535d cluster works partially. Only the digital screen and signs are working but none of the gauges work?!

Yes it was fixed. Check out the other videos in the channel. We removed the cluster and sent it to a specialist for repair

My car was much older but on a 2019! Yeh that's not good. The car should still be under warranty with BMW, so I hope you were able to get it repaired.
There was a recall on the fuse box from 2007 and onward. If the fuse replacement didn’t work then that may be the issue.

I wonder if I can purchase a used one and then have it programmed idk if I can do this with the F series 335...
From what I understand from a cluster expert. Buying one and programming one is an expensive process and it's better to get your own one fixed.

Hi Hanna there was a component failure inside and I had it repaired from a head unit specialist
