I have a frequent need to drag or tow something around my property. I have a zero turn, but I don't really like using it for that. If I came across this, I'd keep it as a tow vehicle.
Dude said cutting deck is “too far gone” 😂 Shoulda figured that out the second you saw the big gaping holes in it. Yet you still wanted to power wash it. Have fun buying a new cutting deck for $600.
Oh no, I would’ve welded it had the damage not been so close to the spindle. The mower was free, and I now use it as a little yard tractor. Thanks for watching!!!
The deck looks to me like a great welding project.
I thought about it, but one of the spindles was badly compromised. It passed the hammer test, but was basically ready to cave in.

Yes that’s what I was thinking as well.
I would find another deck.
Easier said than done.
Get a New deck or use it as a pulling tractor! Loved the Rain delay! I got a good Chuckle out of it!
Trying to buy a new deck for a L111 is almost $600. Good luck trying to salvage for a good used one. I'm sure they're out there.
@@MarkMeadows90 I ended up pulling the motor out and selling it. Salvaged what parts I could from the mower itself.
@@GreenNoDeal that’s understandable
oh gosh that deck is pretty bad but my john deere l130 i picked up for free the DECK WAS FALLING off because it rotted WAYY to much.

How in the hell does a deck get that bad!
It does seem excessive for a relatively newer mower.
