😆 We get the ones in town, "Waterfront Bistro" brand. Raw Shrimp, peeled & deveined with tail off. Medium 41-50 count per pound. It's a 2 lb bag. Those are our favorite anyway. We use those for the honey walnut shrimp recipe too. Perfect! 🥰
Ah the christmas dish? 😊 I'm a huge fish fan 👍🏼 why do you put butter and oil in the pan together? Shrimps and garlic are a great combination 😍 I love the smell and the taste 👍🏼 one of my favorite dishes at an Italian restaurant around the corner is actually pasta with shrimps, garlic, oil, chili and mussels. Add a little spinach and it's delicious 🤤 really great video and I'm getting hungry again IMMEDIATELY, thanks Julie 😆
Yes. We weren't going to make anything special then decided on shrimp scampi since we had the shrimp in the freezer. 🙂 I prefer cooking with olive oil however I feel like shrimp really needs that butter flavor too, so I do both. Although olive oil can also handle higher heats. Oh that dish at the restaurant around the corner sounds good. I wouldnt think to add mussels, I like them though. The spinach would be a great addition, I agree. The trick with mussels and clams is feed them corn meal overnight, in salt water or ocean water, so they have no sand in their stomachs when you cook them. That's what mom used to do. ☺ She would also barbeque clams on the grill (in their shells) and baste with garlic butter. So good!
That looks fantastic! Now I'm going to have to look for shrimp in our freezer! LOL!
