Aaaah I’m so sad I missed out!! My sis berated me for not setting up an alarm. I will now listen to her advice and put a notice on my phone for the next drop. Thank you for working so hard Kathleen!! Can’t wait to get my grubby little hands on one of your shirts!
i was absolutely blessed by the thrift gods yesterday. found a casio keyboard at this mom and pop style thrift store for $50. the lady working there said shed give it to me for $40 along with two other keyboards they had out front?? so now i have 3 vintage keyboards that are all fully functional??? ive been looking for a new keyboard for a year and now i have three. which is like. cool !!!
Maybe this is too matchy matchy but I want to see that blouse/jacket with the rosettes paired with your shiny, pink, tiered skirt! I think that would look so cool!
Can't believe how invested one can get in someone else's thrift purchases ... as you went from "bought for me" to "bought for gus (but secretly for me)" I felt such disappointment that "Johnny" hadn't been adopted and given his forever home ... then HEEEEEERE'S Johnny!" Yes!
"God Bless You" is a sinister and perplexing thing to put on your tombstone (especially your tombstone on a placemat) and I am here for it Awesome tour, and an s-tier haul
I find something good every. single. time. I go to this location. Editing to add: I commented too soon! I almost bought that tiger a couple months ago! I’m glad it found a good home.
I laughed so much how you found "bagalini" so funny.. lol. Some super finds, that suit on Gus looked fab! and crotchetting...Im all for that..I want to learn that. Let us pray, it could inedeed get nasty..
Totally crushed!! Missed out on the shirt again! I was there right when it launched, but the website made me go to PayPal and review the order TWICE, and by the time I did, it was sold out. PRAYING that you are able ti do another launch. And, congratulations on your success! Love you, stinky!!
What a haul! I love that cute wooden frame. If you didn't want to remove the mat entirely, you could also thrift flip it by painting it to a colour you prefer OR wrap it in some (origami?) paper to make it extra special. Thanks for another lovely video
yessss I looove priory it is my favorite book and I highly recommend the second book/prequel as well. it doesn't have much to do with priory characters cause it's so far in the past but making the connections you can is so fun
Since you asked, I'm doing knitting! I have a lot of free time at my job so I can use it to get projects done, I only started a few months ago but I have made a sweater and multiple hats and scarves! I'm also using it as a good cheap way to make presents for everyone for Christmas!
I edited my comment because at the end you did mention that you will have more shirts after new year. lol within 8 minutes of the drop they were gone. but that's okay. I'm glad they are a hit
I am arms deep into a crochet blanket for my child's girlfriend right now, but I made 4 cardigans and 1 sweater for myself. I started in September, so now I can concentrate on making gifts for other people. I was determined to make all of my own sweaters this year lol. I absolutely love everything you got!! That suit is amazing! I was talking to you through the screen, basically saying how upset I would be if you didn't get it! 😅.
I absolutely love that suit, makes me wanna embroider something like that myself on a suit. But I exclusively do hand embroidery so it would probably be like....a very long project lmao
I love the things you found, especially the work shirt. I love rayon & many years ago I found a black bowling shirt with the name Brock on the pocket and I cherish it!
Dude, Lorain Road is a treasure trove of secondhand shops if you're ever back in the area. Highly recommend Common Threads (great kitchen stuff, candles, and baskets) and Volunteers of America (it has everything and it's HUGE). And between those two stores is a Goodwill, a Plato's Closet, and a Halfprice Books. Also, congrats on selling out on your shirts AGAIN!
Welcome to the ereader club!! I recently got a Kobo and I love it. I can't read on my phone bc of eye strain, but the paper-white screen is so nice. I love my kobo so much. It's made from recycled plastic too, which is awesome. Also, Kobo has the overdrive app for library connection and an option for a color screen and Bluetooth headphones connection for audiobooks.
I am SO glad you got the rainbow squiggly wiggly set. I'll be waiting for the announcement for the 3rd drop of the shirt so I can put that on my calendar once more!
I’m here for a manga segment every now and then with your book time! I have a shelf of manga to catch up on myself, but knowing what you like might add more to that TBR!
What great finds! Another sweater brand that you should keep your eye out for is Christine Foley, her sweaters can go for some big money online, but you can occasionally find gold with them!
I think you made the best choice on your kindle! I have one of the older grayscale non tablet style kindles from the early 2000s and it’s the best version in my opinion. My mom gave me hers when she upgraded to the fancier touch-screen tablet style ones in like the 2010s and she eventually told me that she wished she would’ve kept the one she gave me or invested in an iPad. Mine is over 10 years old at this point and still working so I think there’s something to be said about the quality of the older models as well. I also love that ram sweater! It’s inspired me to want to diy a detailed cable-knit sweater I have already🤩
I have the exact notebook case for my ipad. I got it over the summer and I also put stickers on it. It became kind of a pastel goth theme by accident, but I love it.
I LOVE that store and even though I’m in Cleveland, it was your video on your local store that inspired me to check it out! The volunteers are lovely and they have the BEST prices. If you haven’t already, there’s a Savers and a Value World nearby that you NEED to visit. Along with the Discovery Shop, they’re the best thrift stores in the area and I’ve found gems every time I’ve stopped there. We have some cool stores here on the east side, but the west side wins in this regard😂
Cool haul. I've been crocheting a lot, listening to The Lady Hardcastle Mysteries by T E Kinsey, and Agnes Grey by Anne Bronte, and reading The Tryst by Grace Livingston Hill.
Well, dang it. Missed out on the shirts again. If you decided that the sheep sweater isn't You, it certainly could be me!!! I raise sheep and want want want.
idk if someone suggested it already but I've been really enjoying She Is A Haunting by Thanh Tran. I *am* a slow reader, so I can't say anything about the ending, but its a really beautifully culturally deep story about a Vietnamese American girl spending a summer in Vietnam with her dad, dealing with feeling out of place culturally and because of sexuality and class. I so rarely come across books that handle so many topics like this well, and it does so really wonderfully with some ghosties and girl kissing. Highly suggest.
I feel like such an absolute nerd right now, because the first thing that came to mind when you showed us that "Johnny" monogram button-up was: Johnny from Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

They should write down and pin or tape the stories to items. Wouldn’t that be so cool!?!
Holy shit, that Western suit at the beginning is INSANE!
Maybe this is too matchy matchy but I want to see that blouse/jacket with the rosettes paired with your shiny, pink, tiered skirt! I think that would look so cool!
that top and lip combo is just ~exquisite~
ooo weeeeee thank you!

Peak thrift gremlin energy! It’s so fun to just appreciate things with someone even if they’re not items we’re buying.
Daily Kathleenism: "I'm starting to think they're planting clowns 'cause they know I'm coming!"
I hope the sheep sweater is an exact knitted replica of the sheep the wool came from.
"God Bless You" is a sinister and perplexing thing to put on your tombstone (especially your tombstone on a placemat) and I am here for it
Awesome tour, and an s-tier haul

I will!! so sorry that happened :( more coming closer to the end of the year
@KathleenIllustrated Thanks, Kathleen! Love you!!
That western style suit set….is criminal.
You know the thrifting is good when you are whispering to yourself 😂😂
The ring light reflection while you're eating gives you a halo...always knew you were an angel!
Love the IGA shirt! We had an IGA by us up north and always called it “ig-guh” lol
What a haul! I love that cute wooden frame. If you didn't want to remove the mat entirely, you could also thrift flip it by painting it to a colour you prefer OR wrap it in some (origami?) paper to make it extra special. Thanks for another lovely video
14:08 looks SO good on him!!
I now have a new thing to add to my wardrobe wish list!
Enjoy your bagel! ❤❤

I edited my comment because at the end you did mention that you will have more shirts after new year. lol within 8 minutes of the drop they were gone. but that's okay. I'm glad they are a hit
Oh my gosh, I thrifted that exact same ram sweater last month! It's so good 😍
I am arms deep into a crochet blanket for my child's girlfriend right now, but I made 4 cardigans and 1 sweater for myself. The white suit and pants are so dreamy!! Looks like they were made for Gus!

Reading: The Secret Comminwealth- second book in His Dark Materials prequel.
Knitting from stash for holiday gift giving.
Awesome scores!
I caught this at 4 minutes after posting and all the sizes bigger than a medium are gone😂
"Why are you in here?"
.......I'm looking for Kashi. We're having a snuggle date.
I learned how to knit last week and now I'm too powerful.
🔥G🔥U🔥S🔥 also love the Johnny shirt! we used to have IGAs all over the place here in NY - what happened to them😿
Looks like I missed the shirts again, just means I was destined to get the washi
You should learn how to darn as your fall/winter hobby project. That way you could fix up your ram sweater and prevent it from further unraveling.
babies sweaters- so tooot
Thirty seconds and no shirts 🥲
You were in the same strip mall as my hair dresser!
