MP clothing line has always fascinated me, only because it’s ridiculously expensive and most people who spend this kind of money on clothing aren’t wearing MP. Who is buying MP clothing and who is wearing it out of the house? I seriously want to know 😂
Yes, it's unbearable art really. Melissa Gilbert wore one of my dresses on some talk show, she looked clownish, I think a scaled down version would be better.
@@sandraracicot934 wow, that’s cool! I can see Melissa Gilbert in MP clothing. I doubt she looked clownish. I’d love to see how she styled your pieces. Thank you for sharing that with me. Wishing you all the best!
I love the pieces but I think a little goes a long way such as a top with some regular jeans or the patchy pants with a normal linen top or plain white t-shirt. If it’s the whole outfit I think it does look clownish. I use her pieces as inspiration for creating some stuff in my own clothing. There is almost a visceral quality to clothing that has been worked over this much.
Non parlo inglese correttamente ma qualcosa di più riesco a capire,... Le faccio i miei complimenti, trovo che questi abiti siano molto più belli di tanti altri,
My dad, who is 99, would laugh and shake his head, and say, “I can’t believe ppl pay money for clothes with all these patches in them. When I was a kid going through the GREAT DEPRESSION, we had no choice but to wear patched clothes”.
Hi there! I am a new viewer and enjoying watching this tutorial - lovely designs. Please could I know the name of the KIMONO you showed over top of the Constellation top? Laura ______? I looked on your website but could not find a Laura P. Many thanks! MK
Hi Mary, it's the Floral Patchwork Vijji Kimono. I cannot find it online at Direct Detail but if you call, she will tell you if she has it or when and if she may get one in for you. ❤❤❤
I so much love these clothes, mif I was ri h I would throw away my large collection of clothes and replace them totally with those. We had a house fire and I had had clothes I loved including antique and vintage and fab jewellery and I lost all my clothes and shoes. I was left in a nightdress and my husbands rubber clogs, that was all I had.
Perhaps the comment might’ve been met with more acknowledgement when offered as c o n s t r u c t i v e criticism?? While I agree, in fact watching too thought, ‘it might be nice to actually see the pieces on-the-body’, I also understand the collection not everyone’s personal style. Which could explain the black turtleneck. Then I thought, ‘we’ll maybe her cargos are from a previous collection?’. Though YT is a far more casual venue, righto. Bottom line . . . Kindness costs us nothing. The same c a n n o t be said for the likes of sarcasm or the sort. Enjoy your beautiful day! S I n c e r e l y 🕯️
I’m 70 and I made clothes like this when I was a teen. People have been making funky upcycled clothes with appliqués, doilies, etc for many years and selling them; this isn’t new to them.
it's funny how you say its overpriced. you are simply not the target customer and as long there is buyers, why would they change the price if it works for them. Then you could say this to all the luxury brands, which are all "overpriced"
I work in the industry and those clothes are very invested in terms of fabric/treatment/washes Artwork ect. ,so the price is only a bit high like by 25%, my problem is that they look very outdated in terms of design, even if you want to bring the boho of the 90's back, it has to have some innovation to these times, however in this collection, It looks like somebody founded a container of clothes from 20 years ago, I will not wear those back as they are.
Head to toe dressing in this line is too much and a little clownish. (like how it’s modeled on the website). One piece like a jacket or a tee paired with your own jeans is better. Just my opinion though.
I have attended Antique Week at Round Top, Texas for many, many years and my friends and I always laughed at the middle aged ladies wearing MP head to toe. I like the boho look but MP carries it a little too far. Most of her things look like they’re ready for the rag bag. They are dirty and shabby looking.
Everything looks like you chase down homeless people, pull off their clothes and sell them without washing them first, lol. I love the shabby look but you take it too far and charge way too much.
If these cloths are as expensive as I’m hearing why are you trying to shut down people like TMyers who’s only trying to let “normal” everyday people make similar things to enjoy ,,!shame shame shame
Tmyres thrift clothes and makes them look close to magnolia pearl for a lot cheaper and now they’re suing her because they’re jealous of her because she can do it for way cheaper than their over priced clothes
@@kristinjacobsen3417lol, I know a woman who has been making stuff like this for at least 30 years. She used to be called Gypsy bells, then was called Shanty butterfly. There’s nothing new about this stuff and it’s been inspiring since before the 21st century!

Thank you for showing us the beauty! Magnolia Pearl is joyful!
Very inspiring to create own version on a budget
I thought the same. Would be fun to have a go!

Me encanta esta mada....te felicito ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗
Great designs but one Indian comedian said we have panhandlers at signals also dressed in similar rags.
Love that little vest thing @ 22:00
Love it all 💗
‘Junk journaling’ in couture 😍
I sure wish i could afford 1 piece of this clothing.
Recreate it yourself for 1/10th of the price!
The dresses remind me of my grandmas pijamas...very cute 🥰
Truly beautiful...i can see the inspiration and work involved, from these comments way expensive

Sorry, autocorrect , not one of my shows, lol , on a show.
And it's unwearable, beautiful to look at though.

Pretty clothes but too expensive!

These are definitely conversation starter pieces 😂 We've heard it all!

Gill I am so sorry. I have some clothes that I love too and am emotionally invested in. I too would be sad if I lost them
"Her designs are really cute, extremely talented..." And you're wearing a Black Turtle neck😆

Why are the samples so large sized?
These clothes are not made to fit the body. They are meant to be free-flowing and seen as wearable art.
perfect explanation @marie d

These collections are overly priced marked. You can actually do these yourself.
It’s finding the fabrics that’s difficult.

YES!! I completely agree!! For those who can sew and thrift, this new line of inspiration is a DREAM!

I make them but it’s hours of work and mine don’t look as cool😩

You would think they would use a better dressed model to present the collection!
Pretty and comfy looking but wouldn't wear out in public

Better have Mary on the knee after paying for it!
Y si no les gusta esta moda para que la ven
Ummm.. she makes a piece, sends it to India where they replicate it a few times.. not cool.
Who is wearing this?😂

I know. Awful and the prices are crazy!
U couldn’t find a QUIET place to do this??! So , distracting !!- Just turned volume off.
We're learning!! Thanks for your input

Tmyershandmade is inspired by MP.
