Connect anything to KNX

- In today's episode i will show you how to connect non KNX devices to KNX. For this demo we will use a Push Button, an Emergency button, a magnetic contact and a smart relay from Ajax Security System.
For this purpose we will use ITR104 a KNX binary input module from Interra.
ITR104 is a 4 channels module. It's inputs can be used for
Switching
This function is used to send ON/OFF values
Toggle
Each press of a button sends to the Bus 1-bit object with value 0 or 1. If 0 is transmitted through the first press the next value will be 1 and viceversa.
Dimming
With this function it is possible to dim and switch a lighting circuit using one ore two push buttons.
Shutter/Blinds
With this function it is possible to control blinds and shutters with one or two buttons.
Value
This function is used to send a value. You can choose between 1byte value, 2 bytes value, Percentage, Temperature or Luminosity.
2 Channel Mode
Is used to perform two different actions using the same push button.

hi in my project the customer wish install a moviment sensor in closet to turn on the light for a while , could you show how i configure a actuator for some minutes and so turn off?

@@PoseidwnTech your videos did. So far I have built a mock up. It's Dinuy brand products. The wiring all works if I manually switch on the dimmer and relay actuator from the interface on these devices. I have to try programing it in the next few days.
Thx a lot for your videos) They are very usefull for me. I have one question, is it possible add AJAX security system to iridium and use KNX lighting control and securiti control in one application like irridium or something else? Also I would like to ask you what the best way to start learning KNX and other smart house things to became proffesional installator. I am live in Portugal and already have some basic installation of smart home(wi-Fi, CCTV, Apple homeKIt, Z-wave devices) but I am always looking for best SH solutions. I will be very appreciated for any help)
Thank you for your comment. It would be great for Ajax Alarm to be able to interact with Iridium Mobile. At the moment Ajax API is only available for companies so i will send a require to Iridium Mobile to contact Ajax and i will let you know for the results!
